I am sure someone will have seen this cheaper somewhere before and mark it cold but seemed like a good price to me and can't find it cheaper anywhere else right now. White only. Black is more. Read More

Voted cold, price good but it shoots in 720 so not full HD. When it shoots in 1080 then it's a deal. Samsung sell a similar sized camcorder records at 1080 for £111. As it is new there isn't any reviews

I have been looking at the Samsung U10 for about a week - it has many bad reviews. The Flip has some of the best reviews around.

Voted hot from me

There are plenty of reviews around of the Samsung, try YouTube for example. None of them that do 1080 are much good at that resolution so you'll end up using 720 on them anyway.

The point of this site is personal views, 720 is not full HD. I have a 1080 TV like many people. Yes you are missing the point. They market the camcorder as HD, it aint

is your TV 1080I or 1080P do you always get HD on it from every sauce???

All camcorders with 720P are marketed as HD not just this one.

I would have thought the point of heat is whether it is a good price for those who want that particular product, not whether it has a feature or not. I could understand marking it cold if it was a poor product, but the fact is relative to other cameras in this price range (including some that DO 1080), the Flip consistently gets good reviews, so marking it cold just because it doesn't do 1080 is just daft. Sadly like many people you are clearly blinded by numbers and misguided about the value of poor 1080p vs good quality 720p. For a start, unless you have a very big, or very high end screen (in which case I doubt you would be going for a cheap camcorder!), most people would not tell the difference between 720 and 1080 and I can speak from personal experience having done back to back tests of the 2 on my 42" (1080p!) screen. Secondly, you say it aint HD, well sorry but it is. 720p is a recognised HD resolution. It may not be FULL HD, but you cant say it aint HD. Whatever anyway.. buy the samsung and watch your jerky 1080 I will stick with my well rendered 720 any day thanks

"We still believe that when you're dealing with TVs 50 inches and smaller, the added resolution has only a very minor impact on picture quality. In our tests, we put 720p (or 768p) sets next to 1080p sets, then feed them both the same source material, whether it's 1080i or 1080p, from the highest-quality Blu-ray player. We typically watch both sets for a while, with eyes darting back and forth between the two, looking for differences in the most-detailed sections, such as hair, textures of fabric, and grassy plains. Bottom line: It's almost always very difficult to see any difference--especially from farther than 8 feet away on a 50-inch TV. "
