Other sizes available at around the same price (including full suspension bike) see bottom of the page

It might look cool (if you're 7) but it'd just a cheap, nasty, steel-framed, full-suspension monstrosity.

Buy a proper bike (aluminium frame and no rear suspension would be a good indicator of a proper bike) from most bike shops for a few quid extra.

Noooo! Don't do it! If you're willing to spend that much you can get a proper bike that doesn't weigh a ton or have pointless rear suspension.

First example I found after 10s searching

10s of searching? I think not, as you posted a similar link from the same site on my deal!

You're right. In both cases I just looked up the cheapest proper bike on the first website I looked at. If I can find a proper bike for marginally more money that easily then there's no excuse for inflicting a heavy piece of junk on your kids.

I'm not the kind of bike snob that won't look at a bike that costs less then £500; my own bike cost £150. But I made sure my kids got lightweight aluminium bikes that are fun to ride.

I hate these cheap steel-framed, full-suspension bikes because as long as people keep falling for the marketing then manufacturers and retailers will keep punting them out. If everybody refused to buy poorly designed and badly built bikes like this then the price of proper bikes (due to economies of scale) would fall to this level or even less.

Weirdo... Its a kids bike

It's a kids toy. A kids bike would be something they could use on a family cycle ride. They'd be exhausted trying to keep this thing moving.

my 5 year old would beg to differ...

I bought this a couple of weeks ago, for my 8 year old. He loves it and all his friends are envious of him. Result I say...

Also only took 10 - 15 mins to put the bike together.
