Just been looking for holidays and found amazing price of £246.50 PP for your flights (From Gatwick), Accommodation (3 star on international drive) inc car hire. I wish i could get the time off. Note i would take the extra insurance of £105 for the car but not compulsory.

The extra £105 insurance may not be compulsory on your booking but you won't get to drive a car in Florida unless you pay those compulsory charges when you get there to the hire company.

So unless you're booking a car yourself or not driving this needs to be added. Still a good deal, I'm not long back from one of these trips. I'd suggest using someone like carhire 3000 (quidco) for car hire as you won't have extras to pay and you can get an extra driver and a tank of fuel thrown in. It's around £10 a day to add an extra driver when you get there usually.

Also Cosmos use Alamo Car Hire so we chose Dollar Car Hire and had virtually no queue to wait in.

Would be easy to check in and then leave, there's plenty of last minute deals on ebay for villas.

I agree never stayed in a hotel but enjoy the freedom a villa offers.

Why would you even need to check in? I doubt it's a condition of booking that you stay in the hotel.

Fly drive is more expensive, hence I assume you have to check in to the hotel. Seems strange but change the region to 'fly drive' and see. Still Orlando but £377.50.

Huh, I guess you may be right then. Probably worth checking the T&Cs though to avoid 2 wasted journeys. In many cases like this the one that should be more expensive is reduced to attract more bookings, making it cheaper than a worse package just as a quirk and not by design.

another stunning florida deal !!! seeing these deals on here makes me pine for orlando.... ohh to be having a leisurely stroll around worldshowcase at epcot right now . its sooo beautiful all the different countries and see all those side shows and then have a nice meal at san angel inn (mexico) and finally watch those fantastic fireworks with the classical music playing .
love i drive too .... so much happening and things to do and all those loooooovellly restaurants :)

It looks like cosmos have really come unstuck this year with florida in May/June.If you have the time and £246 these are real bargains.

If money is tight there's you can visit Disney's Downtown village for free also it's pretty easy to blag your way into the best disney hotels (just say you are going in to eat) and use some fabulous pools etc or just hang about in the nice surroundings. Also both the east and west coast have great beaches both day trippable,

Which is a con if ever I saw one because Manchester is closer to the Florida than Gatwick.

I don't think closer means it's necessarily cheaper for them. Airports might charge different amounts, etc. And in the grand scheme of things, it's not much closer at all.

'Con' is a strong, slanderous word and I think people should refrain from using it unless they know it to be true.

if you put the search on a few days it may work out cheaper. some of them put a late booking fee on if you go closer to departure date. remember an esta can take up to 72 hours
#26
I cant find no deal for £246 even if put a later date in,
