This ISN'T a 'holiday' request thread....

oO

There is a dedicated thread for this, (which Sunshine Stacey hasn't updated for a while as she is busy with Holiday Pirates, that's fine as she doesn't HAVE to do anything for anyone...it's purely to help people out!)

Problem is with the 'newly registered' accounts is:

A) People don't care and only join to get stuff done for 'em as they are too lazy to check themselves/go to travel agent.
and/or
B) They think ANY deal that Sunshine Stacey uploads is an excuse to go "Great deal/bad deal, but what I want is full inclusive for 20 people no more than £10 somewhere hot........."

Newly registered accounts 'spamming' the site with begging requests seem to be getting worse and worse lately, but nothing is done about it in the spirit of 'community'.... yet these 'newly registered' accounts never return/contribute again!

:(

Good price but would you dare take 3 kids out of school for 14 nights right after 6 weeks off.

Hey Stacey I'm trying to book a holiday for 9 people to Turkey for mid August but when I try to check the prices for the same holiday as a last minute booking (so I enter dates such as 7th July just to get an idea of how last minute prices would be) it comes out £200-£250 cheaper. I was just wondering would it be too risky to try and do the same thing when it comes closer to mid August as I imagine mid August would be much more busier than the 2nd week of July so less chances of empty spaces on flights/hotels?

Hi Stacey. What would the chances be of a last minute booking this august for 2 adults and 2 children to Florida

Cold another deal for kids outwith school holidays!
#8
Room only basis, so at an average of say just £10 per person per day you need to add at least £700 for food.

Well ask in the relevant place. Your question has nothing to do with this deal.

I was trying to steer him to where he would be most likely to get an answer. I'd consider that helping him.

Whatever, brother. I see you've helped loads of people in your 3 years here. Come back and be sarcastic when you've helped your first one, eh?

Don't bother responding, I'm done here.

shame its term time, however LOVING a family of 5 deal, thanks Stacey

You would have to be taking the p1$$ to drag your kids away for 2 weeks at the end of a 6 week holiday. These are where the fines should be applied, not to mention those two weeks kids need to bed in are going to be twice as bad when you send them back with jetlag. Not really a kid holiday this and it's pretty easy to find deals like this all over the place outside of the school terms.

HI Villa, I am sorry that your children are of a school age and that you cannot benefit from this deal. There are lots and lots of holidays posted over on our Sister Site for school holidays, you can check them out here: http://www.holidaypirates.com/search?term=school+hols

P.S: Please don;t shoot me, I like to think that many people benefit from the deals I share :)
#32
Thank you stacey because of your help with all the holidays you post I have recently come back from a holiday in Florida for just over £1000 also another family member paid just under £1000 for 2 for two weeks as well.
Agree these deals dont suit everyone but for some maybe pre school children its good deal especially to Rosen Shingle and if it helps a few its still worth posting.

Yea we get a fine for taking kids out of school but teachers can strike and put inset days right after hols, but that's ok. Lol

i would say it is disgraceful rather than LOL.

Even worse when they fine for taking kids out at the end of summer term when all the kids do is play games and watch DVDs
