If you're up for a safari adventure, check out these bargain flights to Johannesburg, South Africa flying from Dublin with Aer Lingus and British Airways and these fares include bags, meals and drinks onboard too
Available dates in October and November this year and some dates earlier in the year (February, March and September) too ... but fares this hot won't be around for long so grab a bargain whilst you can! This is a possible error fare as the base fare is £0 - wait until your booking is confirmed before doing anything further!

27th feb -27th March also @ £268 pp

but if you are referring to Afrikaans
That is NOT what I am referring to. Don't turn this into something about race. My comments were about accent. (the one that gives the heeby jeebies)

Afrikaans is a LANGUAGE! How do you bring race into it?

Voted HOT for price, but the South African accent goes right through me. I can't stand it.
What is a South African accent as I lived there for quite a few years and as there are 11 languages in South Africa I wouldnt say there was a South African accent per se but if you are referring to Afrikaans it makes more sense though I actually like it.

great price, but Jo'burg... murder capital of the world?! when I was there locals advised me never to go out at night, when things tend to take an ugly turn....

You'd be doing well if you got a flight to Cape Town for £600 with Thomas Cook, so this is a really great price as you can cheaply pick up London to dublin and joburg to Cape Town flights, but it would be a bit of a trek!!
#25
I'd prefer to fly BA than Thomas Cook any day. At least BA offer free in flight entertainment. With Thomas Cook you have to pay for the headphones and then another charge for the very limited films that are fairly old and Netflix style (not the usual in-flight just out at the cinema films!).

Depends what planes BA use .Flew to Vegas from Heathrow and 747 was a relic ,everything about BA on that trip was extremely poor ,no better than Thomas Cook !!

Could not agree more. It's amazing how perfect their English is in countries such as South Africa and India compared to us. I think part of it is we talk in slang more

Tempting. How much are ebola shots ?

There are 11 official languages in SA - so which accent are you referring to? Numpty who'll miss out on travel for such a silly thing - they most probably think the same about your accent :p

Beautiful country, beautiful accents, lived there for 13 years and lived to tell the tale! Never got mugged once, yes it is dangerous if you are not careful. But like many other countries you have to have your wits about you.

Agreed. But I personally didn't take the step to live there with my family. Stunning country nonetheless

Never fails to amuse me (usually in London) when I'm asked by a SA barman if I want "ice in my drink" and the accent makes it sound like slang for a backside.

But I digress, I love the accent and the place looks stunning. Can't fault the people either from my experience. Heat

The Kruger National Park isn't far from Jo'burg. It is a game reserve about the same size as Wales. South Africa is definitely a driving country, you'll need to hire a car.

Just don't stop at any lights you'll get car jacked or shot in the head. Robberies are rife and if you resist they will kill or injure you. If you want assisted dying this deal is hot....!

Ive seen more going on in Toy Town than I ever did whilst living in South Africa. Having driven 1000's of miles through all different towns.
Just stop with this nonsense. Every city has it no go areas .
