seems mine are the exact same and had next to no use that if someone was genuinely wanting to buy these they could simply buy mine for half the price.

Great item but you really need to have some balls on you to use them. No need to be a tw at!

These look good if you fancy some broken legs for Christmas.

I always wanted to try these. Seen the street artists use them on the south bank for tourists, they do look amazing. Are they as dangerous as they look though, is that why you packed in using yours?

I would say to anyone thinking of buying these to do some research first. My daughter had her first set when she was 11 years old and they were fly jumpers and not the best quality. Last Christmas, aged 14, she upgraded to adult 7 Leagues which were about £280, but they are without a doubt the best for the money and a huge leap in quality (no pun intended!) . There are a huge amount of these things which are not licenced or copies so beware what you buy.

You also need to check the weight ranges because it is important that you get the right ones. Too low on the weight and you compress the springs and bottom out, too high and the springs do not compress enough and the jarring can damage knee joints. Different makes actually have different compression rates and so you need to check the forums to get recommendations from users.

Finally I must tell you all that protection is an absolute must. The minimum is metal braced wrist protectors and a helmet. Knee pads and elbow pads are a really good idea as well. Go look at the videos on youtube of bones sticking out of wrists to see the damage these things can do. Many of my daughters bocking friends have bought wrist braces AFTER they had a bad accident

My daughter is not allowed to put her bockers on without putting all her safety kit on, and apart from a badly bruised bum when a leap over a wall went wrong last year, she has not seriously hurt herself. However her safety kit has had a real bashing.

She asked for padded mats for Xmas this year so she could practice flips! When she told my wife that, we could have passed a roller up and my wife could have painted the ceiling whilst she was up there! Negotiations are on going between mother and daughter as we speak! :whistling:

haha these look fantastic, due to my distinct lack of coordination & inordinate levels of clumsiness though i think i'll have to leave it.

People have contacted me via PM to ask for advice and I am really glad to help anyone making decisions about buying these things for their children so don't worry about asking for help if you need it.
