By Travelzoo Staff

If you can leave at the last minute, you can bag yourself a bargain flight to Vegas for just £219 return with Thomas Cook. The closest fare we found was £349 -- and that was for indirect flights. We strongly advise you book this one fast!
Departing Manchester on 5 March, you'll have seven days to hit the casinos or explore further afield and visit the Grand Canyon or the Hoover Dam, before returning home.

Optional extras you may wish to include are increased baggage allowance (£25pp) and travel insurance (from £31).

Travelzoo tip: We also found that you could depart on 12 March for £35 more.

How to book: Click here and enter the details of this offer into the booking form on the right of the page and then follow the prompts to make your booking with Thomas Cook.

Went for the first time last year, feel in love with the place. It's just out of this world. If I wasn't buying a house this year I'd be booking this up right now... Have some heat, and also voted hot...

PS IS THIS JUST FLIGHT?
im looking at this deal where could i go and stay in a hotel?!!
something reasonable but not 2 expensive!!

That is a fantastic deal. Hotels prices vary in the US but you can get some good deals on top hotels, just check any of the hotel booking sites on the web. Someone will get a good price for a weeks holiday.

Awesome price. Last time I flew that route it was about £425.00 round trip.
As for a reasonable hotel that isn't too expensive, try the Golden Nugget (old downtown). High class and not too expensive. If you are more negotiable on class over cost, try the Fitzgeralds (The Fitz). Or, if you want the strip, try the Luxor. I think cheapest of teh big hotels on the strip would be Circus Circus, but it kinda shows. Cheaper still would be something like the Motel 6. It's not really 'in season' right now and if there isn't a huge convention in you should be able to get a deal.

Great spot on the flights OP.

For anyone looking for cheap accomodation click into the Moneysavingexpert forums LAS VEGAS THREAD & MSE GUIDE link below:

I'm off to Vegas in 2 days and apart from being fit to burst with excitement, I have found the info and tips on that thread invaluable.

Nice to see another company coming into the direct Man-Las Vegas route. Not sure what planes they use as they currently have a mix of planes on long haul so it could be a but sardine like. Anyone any idea?

Very good price for a direct flight though.

Hi, I work for Thomas Cook and from the 1st of May this year all long haul flights are going to be 33 inch seat pitch which is more than BA or Virgin.

I know these cheap flights are for March but I suppose there is a chance you would get the larger seat pitch as I am sure some of them must already be changed as they cannot change the planes to the new seat pitch all at once.

I am sure you can call Thomas Cook airlines and they may be able to help you.

oh i see - price has now risen..

Absolutely cracking price indeed

Can't say I'm overly impressed with LV but then again I lived in the USA for a while and probably became acclimatised and it's not the same as coming straight from the UK.

If you do go - make sure you take the trip up to the Grand Canyon (about a 5 hour drive) - you can take a helicopter flight if feeling flush from LV ;-)

My feelings about Las Vegas:

1. Amazing Hotels
2. Boring strip clubs (I'm used to South East Asia) - topless bars would be more accurate and this is "Sin City"? (Not!)
3. Average food in the gut busting buffets - although excellent VFM
4. Gambling is possibly second to none - but I don't gamble...:whistling:

Think I'm too late on this one, just tried to book for 5th March and it's coming up as £339. For the 12th March it's £319. Anyone know if there's still any cheap flights to Vegas available anywhere?
#25
Decided to take the plunge and book. Going 12th March for a week. Just need to find a bargain hotel now. Hopefully something in the strip, nice room but more importantly nice price. Any ideas?
