Time really does fly!

Trouble getting up in the mornings? This alarm clock is sure to fix that!

Set the alarm to the required time. When the alarm sounds the rotor is launched up and flys around the room. But to turn the alarm off you have to get up, find it and return it to it's base. By then you're sure to be wide awake!

Great idea, just ordered one :giggle:

That would annoy the hell out of me but it would have the desired effect of getting me out of bed, but would put me in a bad mood for the rest of the day at the same time especially on a cold dark winters morning :giggle:
#2
Id just cheat the system and just stick a screwdriver in the snooze hole..

:giggle:

on these cold winter mornings are you talking about the DARK cold winter mornings ~ so dark you get bashed by the flying rotor???..... my mind is working overtime. great pressie for someone you only half like & have to buy for.

No thanks. Time already flies for me. I can do without it flying around the room :giggle:

Proabably be easier to just smash the base. :w00t:

I find my normal alarm clock can fly usually at around 6am in the mornings!
#8
I use the same method of getting out of bed. Put my phone (with alarm on and a bouncy tune) across the other side of the room, often behind drawers or under a pile of stuff haha.
#9
Not sure i'd like the idea of that thing flying around the room, it might hit into the TV or something.

alternatively, set your current alarm to the desired time.
when the alarm goes off, turn it off and just get up. save £15

amazingly simple ;)

Or why not set the alarm for AFTER you leave for work, that way it would annoy the hell out of any housemates that sleep through the day and stay up all night?
#13
yep , that thing would get smashed to bits ............first morning !!!

This is in fact the only reason I have a crazy frog ringtone on my phone -- set to the alarm tone. The first few seconds of that *!*£$ frog is enough to get up because if you dont find it quickly, it just gets worse!

This is such a fantasticly cool new idea for an alarm...

Shame the world is going to hate it. Mornings are too hard as it is.

That said some sadistic people out there may love it.
#18
It's just too weird!
#19
I seem to sleep through anything so I wonder if this thing is actually loud enough to bother me to put the thing back on.
#20
Seems expensive and would have the desired affect, Anything that decides to try and fly round my room just as i'm waking up would be launched towards the nearest wall!!, Haven't voted cold though, Its quirky but I wouldn't want it!
#21
My phone does the job 4 me. Seemed like a good idea until i watched the youtube video. I couldn't see it lasting a week:x:whistling:
#22
OMG What a nightmare of an alarm clock!!! :w00t: :giggle:
#23
Good[ish] idea, but very poorly executed. That YouTube video is annoying just to watch.. never mind actually having to wake up to it.

im awake most of the night by the old bag snoring nxt 2me- the last thing i need is running after a stupid clock!- god help me!!!!!
#25
i dont see what all the fuss is about alarm clocks. i get up every morning without one.

(ok so maybe 11.50am isnt hard to get at hehe)
#26
I could really do with this, although I have been known to sleep through my burgaler and smoke alarms many times, so this still may not even work
#27
Would definately turn me into Hulk every morning, might give it a miss but voted hot nonetheless.......
#28
You'd have to be dead to sleep through this alarm clock. Not only is it loud, it also make a really annoying sound. My only problem with it is that it doesn't actually keep time very well, so about once a month I have to reset it. Definitely works for me.
#29
It's a nice gadget but I don't think it's worth £15. Definitely not a 'hot deal'.
#30
Voted hot. Anything that will get my son up when he's at Uni gets the thumbs up from me.
#31
that's just what i don't need lmao.
