Yeah avoid this, we had one, it escaped and started chasing people down the road, left our lawn half mowed, buy cheap buy twice

I paid I think £60 from teach direct last year for this product. Don't expect too much from this product , will cut the grass I'd say 50 times if. Aching cleaned & looked well after.

The atrimmer is well rubbish. I wouldn't pay a fiva for it

Overall not bad for £44 . Gets you through the year

I admit it is a good deal but please don't be fooled that you are getting quality. The strimmer is less than useless and the lawnmower engine blew up a week after the guarantee ran out I have read similar reviews to my story so be warned. I'd rather buy the 33quid qualcast most which was from home base and advertised on here yesterday. Sorry, it's cold from me.

Gets you through the year? What is that 20 cuts for £44? hmm.. Had my hover one for about 8 years.

The last time I bought a Flymo lawnmower the engine blew up in a puff of blue smoke a couple of months outside the warranty. They're a false economy. My Bosch Rotak has lasted several years now and shows no signs of giving up.

Yep looking for something to replace this, the lawnmower is pretty rubbish. Strimmer has worked well though but not worth the packaged price.

I paid £50 for this pack 2 years ago. Still going strong on my admittedly small lawn. Does a good job from what I can tell, I've been really happy with it.

Fine if you regularly trim your grass. Almost guarenteed to fail if the grass is long though, the motor isn't designed for it. So if you're a bit of a lazy **** like me, I'd advoid

The problem is people dont know how to look after these, thats most of the negative reviews. I have the strimmer and its plenty good. bought it for 17 frm qd and done 3 yrs on medium size garden and still got spool left.

flymo are rubbish lawnmowers unless you like the smell of burned out motors.

Had my Flymo for 6 years and only just replaced the blade the other week. No problem on long grass as long as you push the back of the mower down slightly to raise the front a bit. That's always down to laziness though leaving grass grow too much. Strimmer was useless but that was down to the poor quality cutting wire which kept breaking. If you replace the wire with a better quality one it would be fine.

bought this set 5 years ago and still goes ok. blade needs replacing though. use the strimmer maybe 4 times a year. and yes I have a smallish garden.
didn't think it was worth paying more at the time and was not expecting it to last so long, so happy :-)

Poor quality, stay away from Flymo, stick to Bosch, fantastic customer service.

I got this about a month ago for £50, from Asda. Only used the lawnmower for the 2nd time today, and not used the trimmer as yet, but, even on 1st cut it was the best cut of lawnmower I have used!

its not a buy it for life product but if you need a mower on a budget this will fit the bill for a couple of summers. the strimmer is a heap of sh1te might as well chuck it straight in the bin or try and get a tenner on ebay without opening it.
