Where do you enter new customer code?

I bought this other week personally think it's shocking ... Sounded like it was Gynna pack in at any second and didn't cut great kept clogging up (maybe cos the grass was quite long) not sure but took it back and got my money back x deffo think it's only any good for small grassed areas x
#13
Sorted it. Took 3/4 attempts but got there in the end. Cheers op, been waiting for a hot deal on a lawnmower!
#14
It's a good price, but 900w is a bit low, isn't it? It this mower packs up after a year or two, it'll be false economy and you'll have the hassle of disposing of it.
#15
This is ok if you have a very small lawn and cut it often.
#16
I have this set. Got it from Argos for £80 a year or so ago. It's very good no problems since. Have cut the grass at sensible intervals and it hasn't choked up. Strummer is handy. Our garden isn't big but it's not a terraced house either.

I bought this set from Tesco Direct a couple of weeks ago at £50 and was not expecting it to be great at the price, having used both items twice on my garden I think it is excellent, I have had no problem whatsoever with either and both do the job just great.
#18
I bought this a few months ago from Asda, and I have to say the Mower is excellent. The box is large enough so that it doesn't have to be emptied too often, it is simple to push around, I actually find it easier than a hover mower and the strimmer works well.

I had concerns about it being a 900w but in all honesty there is no real difference and I think it is a really good buy. May not be suitable for a large garden, my garden is around 25 ft by 40ft and it takes me around 15 minutes to mow the lawn.

I am one happy customer!

Tesco Direct codes are different to grocery codes. The code works on the first order.

You have a couple of choices:
- Register a new account, same details just change your email address to get the code to work TDX-PRKW £10 off £50

- If you spend £60 on lawnmowers and power tools use code TDX-GMPW which gives £10 off (works for existng customers)

Plus there is a 30% sale on today

I bought this lawn mower to replace my 35 year old Flymo because the power button was stiff. At first I was hopeful that being a Flymo I may get another 35 years out of it but as I began to unpack the lawnmower my hopes began to fade. Although it was easy to assemble thats about as good as it got. Less than 30 seconds in to cutting the grass the blade hit a tiny piece of brittle slate which was hidden in the grass. Then mower reacted as if it had just had a collision with an asteroid. The blade bent almost 90 degrees and took a lump out of my lawn. On further inspection I realised that there was a chunk of undercarriage missing from the mower and a large crack running the length of the skirt. I didn't even bother trying the strimmer and put it all back in the box. Needless to say Tesco's customer service was excellent. A full refund and apology with no hassle. It's a shame such a good store can stock such a poor product.

Good price, but in my experience very poor mower. Bought at a similar price with the trimmer last year from Tesco and only had hassle with it. Mainly, the mower not collecting the cut grass no matter how hard I tried, or at what length the grass might have been. Had to then manually pick up all the remaining grass every time to avoid it rotting. Didn't clear edges well either, and despite it being lightweight, felt a task to move across the lawn. Not to mention that if it hit anything other than grass/weed (eg. small branch), it felt as if it was going to self destruct under the strain. Not too disappointed with the trimmer for it being "free" with the mower, but wouldn't have bought it. Eventually bought the Bosch 34R from a couple of months back for £59 and a totally different experience. No comparison whatsoever. Despite this being a good price, I would highly suggest you invest in a quality mower, as this is not.

Its a mower and strimmer together for £40. What do you expect....

Its for cutting small gardens with no real obstacles other than grass! So if you have a woodland garden I imagine its not for you!

Chillax sweetheart. Don't get your panties all in a bunch.

My garden's the size of a quarter tennis court with no trees. Even firm weed caused this little disaster problems. No one said the price was bad. What we are saying though is that for not too much more, you can get a much better mower. If you don't think my advice is of any good, by all means please buy. All I'm trying to do is help people out by sharing what experiences I've had. Have a wonderful day ;)

Hello

My first time on this so bear with me if I make a mess up but I have just ordered this for £42 including post as I used a voucher code TDXR-GNKY which gave £10 off anything over £40. Brought price down to £39 plus £3 a bargain of £42 and no other purchase.

Hope it works for everyone else
