He, he, too many double entendres in your post about a mini trimmer! :p

erm... £3.95 delivery to be included in the price?

I have another brand of strimmer, but can never get the automatic line feed feature to work. You're supposed to tap or bang the bottom of the strimmer on a flagstone while it's running to automatically feed out some more line? Never seems to bl@@dy work for me.

With mine, I spend 30 seconds strimming and then five minutes disassembling the business end to manually pull out some more line. Hateful inventions.

I have this for my small patch of lumpy, weed-ridden, steep garden. I think I paid around £20 for it a couple of years ago. Still works fine and is stored in an outside cupboard. Simple and effective.

Are you forced to get a replacement spool , why can't you just add more nylon line to the empty spool. Anyway judging by ebay the spool and line is simply ALM part FL225 .

Yep, my experience too.

Nice could do with one of these, garden is a little bit of a mess..!

Word of warning - these strimmers send the grass everywhere!

I must spend twice as long clearing up the devestation caused by one similar to this compared to using our old trusty flymo lawn mower - probably going to keep mine for edging and get new blades for the flymo as a result of the mess these things make.

Oh you also have to be very careful with these as a few cms too low (easy done!) and you scalp your lovely lawn

Good deal (price) though :)
