Great price for a unique folw away design, £80 at Argos, £80 at Mowdirect, same price at Tesco but have to add £5 delivery, so best price i could find delivered at Amazon, good reviews

Amongst other features, the Flymo Pac A Mow does exactly what it says on the tin - packs away into a compact space, making storage less of a headache,

t's also extremely easy to transport around the garden, folding into something which resembles a suitcase on castors, you feel like you're at the airport as you wheel it out from the shed with ease.

The Flymo Pac A Mow also features a vision window on the grass box, letting you peak in to see when the grass needs emptying.

Besides all the practical benefits, the Flymo Pac A Mow also performs well at it's number one job, mowing. The 1000 watt electric motor provides sufficient power to slash through the longest of grass. A rear roller is also integrated onto the Pac A Mow, allowing for a striped finish.

he 33cm cutting width allows you to get the job done quickly, on a medium sized lawn, without compromising the manoeuvrability, the 29 litre grass collection box and 12 metre cable are again, sufficient, for mowing medium sized gardens.

The Flymo Pac A Mow offers a flexible cutting height between 2cm and 6cm, letting you achieve your required grass length.

In conclusion, if practicality and ease of use are your priorities, and your lawn isn't huge, you can't go wrong with a Flymo Pac A Mow

Bought this for £80 in September Great mower!
#3
Looks a good price, the only problem i've had with these folding handle types is where the handle folds in the middle section, the metal goes wonky after a while.
#4
bit too big for us - we have a small lawn. Seems good price though

My lawn is too small for one of them - but I do own the worst lawn mower in the world, a Qualcast - it just barely cuts the grass and the collection box is so light it falls off all of the time. Qualcast, a company that used to make quality products, now they're just a bit of tat that do half a job - only my opinion. I also had a B&D hedge trimmer that lasted thirteen months (about 6 uses) - they refused to replace/repair it because the guarantee was only for 12 months, another company that knocks out rubbish by the bucket load these days - so I bought a Bosch, much superior in every respect.

Hi,

Great post and price. The code works too. The Tesco direct brief product description states 1200 watt power in two places, whereas it states 1000 watt power in the full description (lower down). I am hoping that it is the 1200 watt version as it means more power for cutting through the long grass. I have seen the 1200 watt version sell for 100 pounds plus.

OR if you cannot get a staff discount then you can get this for just £42.19 with the £10 off £50 or more code at tesco direct. Just use the following code (this one was sent to me along with clubcard statement last week so should be a code anyone can use) ...

TDXR-XXCC (valid until 05/07/09)

I have a Flymo Twin something or other, it used to my Gran's before she got a gardener, that was in the mid nineties and she had it for years. I think that it must be almost 25 years old now.

The plastic is discoloured and I needed to put in a screw in place of one of the plastic hinges but aside from that it's fine.

But a new Flymo is not anywhere as good as the old ones, Flymo was taken over by Electrolux/AEG a few years ago, quality went downhill rapidly.

Same old story I'm afraid. :x

I have seen the flymo hover vac in TJ hughes for a good price (cant rem exact details) this is just as good but smaller, i was very tempted as i have the flymo hover compact i love but its a bit big for my garden

Hi got mine from Tesco and pick it up in the store on Wednesday, the £5 off code worked great and its free delivery to my localish Tesco at Cribbs Causeway, Bristol. I also remembered I wanted some Nivea Cool Skin Refills for my Electric Razor so added these to the order as they were only £3.42 instead of £7 see this earlier HUKD post

I hated my Flymo when I had it. I have now bought a Bosch Rotak and I am the happiest mower in my region.

Goto Amazon and browse for Bosch Rotak and look at the insane number of 5 * reviews.
I was skeptical it was Bosch employees, but now I've got one I am chuffed. Cuts way better than any Flymo I've ever had. Just an alternative in case someone was hesitant.
#25
Hes right on the Bosch I have a rotak and its easily the best mover I have ever had.....

This looks very useful, would be alot more convinient for me. We have no shed or garage but a decent sized lawn. I have a store but its awkard getting my bosch mower in and out and have to leave the handle detached. WOuld certainly save me time and effort but I am sure the results would be no where near as good. The last flymo I have was not kind to opur lawn.

Very tempted....but this wont be as good as the bosch with electricals you really do get what you pay for.
#26
+1 that the Bosch Rotak is the best mower that I've had as well (also replacing a rubbish flymo), but this is a great price and I may have a friend who could do with this
#27
Flymo now out of stock at Tesco. No doubt stock will re-appear after the bank holiday special offer has finished.
