Thanks for this, do you know if this is nationwide or just selected stores?
[mod]#2

This is Nationwide

Bill Grimsey and Bill Hoskins, the men responsible for reviving DIY chain Wickes in the 1990s, will take over the management of Focus, the heavily indebted home improvement retailer being bought by Cerberus, the US hedge fund.
Confirmation of the deal, reported in the Financial Times last week, is expected to be announced today and could see the US hedge fund, which specialises in distressed debt, acquire the home improvement chain for £220m.

If you look on their website, certain stores are names as STOCK LIQUIDATION stores. The one in St. Albans is and has lots of bargains!

\Sorry to disappoint you but they have not gone into administration. I know someone who works for them. They have been, as aforementioned, been taken over. More than likely they have decided to close down certain stores.

Thank for everyone who coming and answer the question. !!! :-)

It would be good if someone could make a list of stores that have been marked as "Stock Liquidation" as this is not a nationwide deal

I just called Waterlooville, who were only told last week that they will be closing, and as such there is an extra 10% off all products. This will vary from store to store, dependant on their closing date.

Thus verfication that those marked as stock liquidation are the selected stores that are closing.
suspended#26
For central Scotland people, Airdrie & Kilmarknock (with Garden centres )are the stores closing.
#27
Yesterday I went to Netherfield (Nottingham) Focus a stock liquidation store & the offer was 10% off all products (not that great as I believe if you are over 60 yrs old you always get 10% off anyway (not that I'm over 60) but I didn't think it was very good.

The store near the OP is obviously much better if everything is half price or less.
#28
Off to Waterlooville one now so i'll let ya know if its any good or not...
#29
I'll add Rotherham to the list

Bill Grimsey and Bill Hoskins.

Might as well go intro administration, they'll rape the company, get a big payout and still leave it up **** creek just as they did with Booker/Iceland a few years ago (BFG).
#31
tamworth and cannock are Stock liquidation Stores
#32
Sod all in the North East! The nearest one is Penrith!
#33
Rubbish at Parkgate, Rotherham. Everything has 10% off but the starting prices are dreamland anyway. Will wait until they are getting desparate to get rid, tbh.
#34
Get 10% off if you are planning to move home or have moved in the last 6 months...

we got one of these cards, havent used it yet coz there prices are way over the top.

Will i be able to use my card and still have 10% off?
#38

Thats not too far from my house. I'll take a look when it arrives.
#39
Well nothing really of note in Waterlooville. Everything had 10% off, but that still meant things like paint etc were still more expensive than B&Q.

The garden furniture is good though. This 6 piece set was only £53.99 instore. Looks much better in the store rather than the picture.

Has the one in Hertford got lots of bargains at the mo too?
