I have one of these and although the sound quality is not fantastic (it is basically just a directional speaker strapped to the handle bar of a push bike, how good could it really get?) , this gizmo has definitely improved my 13 mile ride to work. Well worth £16, I thought it was a bargain when I paid £20 for it in June. It's also pretty sturdy and has survived 2 rain storms so far which I was definitely not expecting at all.

Sounds good. Was a little concerned when you said it's "basically just a directional speaker strapped", as I wanted to plug my earphones into it, but the desc does say it has a 3.5mm jack, so i'm good to go!

I get really annoyed with my iPod in my pocket as I can't just press a button to change tracks -- I have to fiddle around in my pocket, meaning I have to pull over. I used to have a velcro strap for my arm like joggers, but the velco started to wear out and kept slipping off.

I think this little beaut does the job! H+

All that noise everyone has to listen to when you cycle. Just you wait till the kids on my street get this. They'll be hanging on the corner listening to der tunes! Annoying everyone. I hate music phones with speakers tooooooooo

Arghhhhhhh

PS I'm not voting. Just wanted to rant. Finished now

My daughter already cycle around with her Zen Stone dangling from the handlebars and playing through its built-in speaker. She's not getting one of these. But, I would if it could pick up the Today program.

@ mr_deals: I remember an Armando Iannucci sketch a few years back about middle-aged people hanging about on street corners listening to Radio 4 on Ghetto-blasters. You could download R4 podcasts and use this to annoy the kids in your street with der tunes as you cycle past.
