Been around before, same item on Ebuyer for same price delivered. Ebuyer have a MyGuide 3218 for £42.98 (£47.77 delivered).

Think this is capable of running TT7 from an SD card :)

I don't need one, but a good SatNav for the price. heat added!

What's the big deal with people wanting to run TT on everything?
OK, I know it's the most popular, but I've recently sold a few items that needed collection on the bay, and because I live in a small village, most buyers request the details for their SatNav.Well 3 of them had TT SatNav's, and all 3 of them were sent to the wrong place, not by 100's of miles, but even so, it meant that they had to spend a while on the phone, driving around, whilst I tried to work out where they were so I could give them directions. So all I'm saying is from my experience and a those that were collecting, don't be in a rush to change the built in mapping system.I use a medion, looks similar to this, and works a treat, although I still prefer the challenge of using a map!

Ebuyer have gone up in price overnight. Was £39.98 yesterday. Saver delivery with them does not cover scotland at all now or parts of wales. Wh smith have been this price for a while. Was never worth £99.99.

I partly agree with the above comment because you cannot rely 100% on any satnav. TomTom/TeleAtlas is not as good because they haven't got the latest maps. Garmin is better because Navteq maps are more updated. I have both and every time the Garmin/Navteq wins. But I like the TomTom interface better than the Garmin.

However, ppl often don't bother upgrading their maps and then complain, which is unfair.

The F&H from WHSmith or ebuyer can be upgraded to many satnav systems which run on Windows CE such as TomTom and iGO8 and others, but not Garmin. For this reason they are best suited for someone who wants to "play around" with different systems. But beware because you need some computer knowledge to install those systems.

You have clearly never tried to run Turbodog (which comes with these) then! :whistling:

On my F&H 4.3 from ebuyer I have TT, Igo Amigo, Ndrive, MioMap, and IGO 8 all installed.

Igo 8 is fantastic - beats the pants off TT anyday, Ndrive looks really promising, well worth a look.

New software available on the net gives you a enhanced start up screen and full instructions. Running a 4GB sdhc card with no problems.

Good price, but the 4.3 from ebuyer seems a better proposition for the same price. Bought 2 now, fathoming out what to do takes a little time but well worth the challenge if you enjoy beating the system.
