Seen a helium party balloon kit in Asda for £22 ,surprised seeing it after the depletion of this gas and its use of supplies for essential equipment like MRI scanners getting scarcer?

I think this should be written on the label so more people know about it (_;)

Actually much of the balloon gas in the UK is helium recovered from MRI scanner use. Its no longer 100% pure helium , so is no good for most technical uses .
When there isn't enough demand for balloon grade helium the gas companies have been known to release this gas into the atmosphere.
