Think manufacturers usually advise up to 5 years, but most children stop needing them long before then.

I went into my local Tesco the other day and picked up two Lindam ones for £10.97 each in their 'clearance' section, bargain i think..

this item is great, my son has it on his bed (other side against wall). Good price,definatley.

If a child needs bed-rails then surely they should still be in a cot?

You can get Tomy ones for around £20 so its a good price
