well I was asking from the ops perspective, having owned one, as in putting it in the boot of a car.
Im crap at dimensions and dont have measuring tape to hand to guide it out..

thanks to the replies though ;)

it folds flat and you could easily store anywhere. i've got mine under the bed of all places but this is only until we use our trailer tent!!
(you can get it into the boot of the car with no worries at all :-) )

I love the way it gives both the extended weight and the folded weight...
As if it's going to gain or lose mass by folding

Do you still have your receipt? Go back, buy it again, then bring new one back with the original receipt. Or try ringing customer services and see if they'll give you some clubcard points for the difference.

Excellent price - heat added.

Saw these last week at £27 or so, looked good for that price.

Hot, hot, hot.

Just ordered one. Will fold up smaller than one camping chair but seat 4 people. Bargain at that price.

Just hope it stands up to the use of 4 drunken people on it.

Thanks. That helps me a lot more than a list of dimensions!

Seems very handy if you are one of the carboot brigade or for when you run out of seating at the Barbie! :)

Unfortunately as I don't drive its still a tad big for carrying camping.

Anyone that already has one, how sturdy is it ? Thanks in advance

I have a green coloured one that LOOKS identical that came from Aldi or Lidl a few years back for something around £18+/- and it is pretty sturdy - certainly four "normal" adults can sit at it. Just make sure you assemble it and slide/press everything home properly (not hard at all, once you've done it once). Would certainly buy again if needed to.

The only downside is really that it is a little cramped for 4 adults, but ideal for a 2+2 family. Buy some of the Tesco paper tablecloths (4+ for £1) to 'tart' it up.

mk-donald has given a pretty good summary here. Though I will add that it is a good thing to be patient with the mechanisms on these things as they can get a bit jammed and you can bend them the wrong way. We use ours when we camp and it is great.... even better at this price.

When it has been unfolded and the clips have been engaged its pretty sturdy, but its really heavy and only really suitable for level ground. the top is really smooth, so if you are using it on uneven ground you will find that stuff slips off it really easily. Also you may find after using a couple of times that the clips break that keep both sides together while you are transporting it. It also takes up a lot of space and isnt really suitable for large people to use as it doesn't feel that strong. I used one for camping for 3 years but realised that I only used it as a table, so bought one of the light aluminium tables from Wilkinsons. Cheaper than everywhere else for this model though.

Many thanks for that was going to Irvine Tesco today anyway and managed to pick one up. Stated £27 on the shelf but took it round to the self scan checker and hey presto £18.66.

It won't! My one survived 2 trips. On the 2nd trip it was not treated well and the frame is quite easily distorted. If this is for 2 adults plus 2 kids though I'm sure it will be fine for many repeated uses.

Replaced it with an aluminium table with separate stools which is much sturdier although cost a bit more.

Err.. simple solution is to buy it today and 'return' using old receipt at £28. Simple!

We bought one of these for a camping trip last year and it last about 4 days before one of the seats cracked down the middle and nipped my **** when I sat down on it (I'm around 13 stone). We took it back to Tesco after the trip and got a full refund - I wouldn't buy another even at this price. If you were only going to be using it for kids it would be alright but as someone has mentioned the top is very smooth and we nearly had a few bowls of cereal skidding off onto the floor at breakfast time.
#25
Collected ours this evening, must have changed the top as its textured not smooth. Even so with the none reassuring plastic locks, the thin easily bent rails and narrow seats make for one very poor product.

Could see it being of some use maybe for kids and for svelt adults, anyone else steer clear I say.

Going to get a refund on it tomorrow, not worth 18 quid let alone 28

Saw one in B&M today for £15 and was going to get and cancel my Tesco order but had second thoughts as I don't think it will last too long.

Incidentally B&M have the folding metal tables for £12 if anyone needs one.
