Ive seen a couple of these deals floating around here.....are they any good? I mean will it hold 2 adults and 2 kids, because when i look at these it looks awfully flimsy.

We used to have one of these when I was a kid going to folk festivals with my parents & sister. They're great! They only look flimsy because they have to be light weight. Voted hot from me!

Very flimsy, and poorly made and doesn't last long before it breaks. They do an £80 version which might be better, but don't expect this to last. You might be lucky though. Read the reviews on their site too.

Has absolutely no use. Most of them end up in landfill. Load of crap.

This looks identical to the tables that friends have used season after season; but judging by those reviews maybe the build quality and quality of materials used has slipped over the years.

I have one of these and there great. There not solid but will seat 4 adults easy.
We've used ours a lot and has never let us down. Hot

I had one and it wasn't long before a seat split. The guy who caused the seat to split weighed 95k mind.

Off to Epsom next Saturday so this will be perfect for the day. Any use after that will be a bonus.

I've 3 children under 8 yrs old and this is perfect for meal times when camping, also great when just the wife and I sit on it but we make sure we are sat on opposite corners

a similar one I bought last year lasted 2 days before things started to fall off and it felt awfully flimsy ... in the end it went back to the shop and I got a camping bench set.

Heat added though as they can't be found any cheaper :p

We have one of these for the caravan for the 4 kids. To be honest its very flimsy. Wish we had got a more sturdy one, it drives me mad as the 2 halves of the table top are so badly angled the plates all slide into the middle. However it is very light and compact. I suppose you get what you pay for.

We've had one of these for over 5 years now, so I can't comment if the quality has gone down over the years but it has always looked and felt flimsy but has been fine in use. We tend to use it for the kids but have seated 4 adults with no problems (and I'm over 100 kg !).

As long as you're careful when setting it up and putting it away it should last just fine. A good tip is to tighten the nuts once a year - they tend to loosen over time.

Hotter than any deal you have ever posted including your crappy prawn platter and cord from Lidl. ****. Probably fat too.

Got a similar thing from tesco for the same price. It's worked flawlessly. You do need to make sure it's on a reasonably level bit of ground and load it sensibly, but it's fine, very light and folds into itself to be carried. Used it for over a year now.

    Don't waste your money!!

Well it's Argos so assuming it's terribly made is standard practice

And in this case, the assumption is well placed - I actually happened to sit on one of these with two other people today at a friend's barbecue and after hearing a snapping noise, the whole thing went very wonky and we all sat on the grass instead. Very very terribly designed and certainly not built for adults
