Brilliant collection of songs ... shame there's not enough space on 1 CD for all their good ones :)

Well, I don't usually disrespect peoples 'opinions', but in this case yours is wrong. Everlong, All My Life and Monkey Wrench make this album worth it on their own for a fiver!

Great tracklist, there are a couple of the real killers missing, but if you don't have the majority of the Foos stuff already then this is an absolute stonker of an album. If I were to choose this album it would be pretty much identical except I probably woulda missed the new releases (and skin and bones... pah) off and put DOA, In your Honor, Overdrive etc on instead...

Only discovered listening to Radio1 this morning that Dave wrote Skin & Bones "5 minutes before doing a BBC show"

couldnt agree more. this album has everything thats great about the foo fighters. obviously there are always a few classics missing from all greatest hits albums but thats just the way it is. im a little gutted next year and walking after you arent included but thats just a personal choice. having said that all true foo fighters fans should spend a little more and get the cd/dvd version - http://www.play.com/Music/CD/4-/11924640/Greatest-Hits/Product.html well worth the extra dosh!

Fantastic singles band. Although where's "Walking After You"?
#10
I'm getting it for Xmas just for the DVDs

No 'Stacked Actors'
No 'M.I.A'
No 'Over and Out'
No 'My Poor Brain'

and so on :(

Still worth a fiver. so HEAT baby

Colour & The Shape is my fave Foo's album, not a shoddy track at all, pure superb. Could have done with releasing a 2CD greatest hits in fairness I guess...
#12
I would definately take the CD option over mp3 download.

Sorry but are some people missing the point? It's called 'Greatest Hits' NOT 'Greatest Album tracks I've never heard of'!!

so 3 unreleased tracks and a bside have been great hits?
these are pretty much all good songs but there are some better ones that could have been squeezed in (or replaced) but then i guess its all opinion.

suppose cant please everyone but to say 3 songs worth it alone..nah, buy the albums they are on and get loads more bang per buck :)

I see your point. However why IS 'Skin and Bones' on it. It's a popular live song but not really a 'Greatest Hit'. 'D.O.A.' and 'Overdrive' are Greatest Hits but are not on the CD :-(

It is worth a fiver (to somebody who has not got any other CDs by Foo Fighters) but it could have been put on multiple CDs with alot more songs and released as a 'Collection'. To people who like the band, like myself and many others, it is not a true representation of their career and we feel this CD is dumbing the band down.

However it is still worth a fiver to the layman.
