Does anyone know if the Foo's are playing any other Gigs this year? Not festivals mind!!!
#3
im sure they are, maybe not in UK mind!!!
#4
Almost 100% certain these will be way cheaper than face value on ebay in a month or so. Foo Fighters are big-ish, but not big enough to fill these sort of stadia AND command ebay premiums.

apologise for what?

foo-fighters - big-ish, i would say massive but hey that's just my opinion.

and as for e-bay, i never put them on for people to make money from buying them and selling them on e-bay, i done it so people could get a crack at them b4 they sell out and need to pay through the nose.

i'm sorry if i misread your comments

What I was saying is (but maybe I didn't make it clear enough, apologies) they WILL sell out the stadium (let's be honest, with all the thousands of online touts these days what big show doesn't?)...but IME tickets for gigs like this usually end up selling for less than face value nearer to the event date. And this is a bargain-hunting site. Totally accept your post is great for people who would prefer to have their tickets ordered early, though.

Sorry if I have misread your comments, but I find people that profit from Ebay sales to be SCUM, surely real fans should be the first to benifit from genuine sales?:whistling:

Awesome.

I was hunting t'internet yesterday for the pre-sale code.

I've been lucky enough to see Dave Grohl and his clan 3 times now, once as Nirvana, and twice as the Foo Fighters.

A couple of tickets will make a nice birthday present for my mate.

Great Band. Great Post.

Heat and Rep Added.

Pick up some 1p flights with Ryanair and you're laughing!

You could fly to Glasgow from Dublin and see The Chilis the next day too.

They did an acoustic tour in America last year but only did one acoustic date in the UK which was in London a few days before the hyde park gig :-( wish i had tried to get tix! It looked awesome on their recent dvd.

Foo Fighters are "big ish"?? They're HUGE! Tickets to every one of their UK dates have been instant sell outs, with tickets commanding huge premiums on eBay.

Don't underestimate one of the best Rock bands around just because they're not in the Top 20.....
#21
Crikey, I seem to have incurred the wrath of the Nirvana community here :w00t: . Can I just make it clear that I am also a fan of the band but all I'm saying is gigs of this size usually sell out but if you wait until nearer the date of the gig, due to the sheer huge numbers of inexperienced touts who have snapped up loads of tickets, supply will outstrip demand and prices will invariably fall below face value. No slight on the band at all, and it all depends on what your definition of 'huge' is. A very overused word IMO. The Rolling Stones I would consider 'huge', U2 also. No disrespect and this is in no way a refelection of the music (I prefer the Foos to either of these 2 bands), they are not in that league (i.e. popularity). Anyway, my last comment on this. I know what I will be doing with regard to tickets for this, though.;-)
#22
oh well, i hope you all enjoy the concert
#23
I agree with the other fella... they're big, but they ain't no relentless sell out like Bon Jovi, George Micheal or Robbie Williams (none of which i like).

They WILL sell out mind - they just wont have the tout premiums of bigger bands.
