Amazon have the brand new Foo Fighters album available to download from Monday for just £3.99

Last year, Dave Grohl built a recording studio in his garage in San Fernando Valley and hired Nevermind producer Butch Vig to oversee Foo Fighters’ seventh album, which they recorded entirely on analogue tape. The result is Wasting Light and if the production sounds like it’s gone back-to-basics, that’s because the album has too. The big, loud, frenetic rock ‘n’ roll so loved by their fans is back, alongside bluesy ballads and memorable lyrics. Wasting Light is a return to form for one of the biggest bands of the last 15 years.

And you heard that where? Al the reviews I've seen have been positive.
#10
It is a fantastic album, haven't heard a bad word about it yet. The documentary last night was fantastic.
#11
Saw them at the NME awards a few weeks ago and they were fecking awesome. They played quite a few tracks from this album and they were all excellent. Dave Grohl is quite simply coolest guy on the planet.
#12
Loved Back and Forth and loving the album. Especially now I've heard it big and 'live' from Studio Fix-o-fix. Really did it justice (apart from the **** live stream).

Anyway, great price if you're happy with just the digital download.

The album is amazing, grows and grows on you. Most consistent album so far imho.
#14
im loving 'Dear Rosemary' :D

Can't wait to get my hands on this CD. Loved the documentary last night and the first airing of the album went down VERY well. Yes, I'd go gay for Dave Grohl. I didn't just think that did I?
#18

roryk83 you do not know what you are talking about. I have been streaming and listening to this album constantly and it is the best album they have done since the colour and the shape. a great return to form for foo fighters and i will argue all day about every single song on wasting light on why it is a good song. outstanding album and a steal for 3.99
#24
Ugh.... mp3? Do amazon not offer AAC format yet?
#25
RGood deal, I'm going to get the cd though so I can burn it in Apple lossless format. If you could download it in this quality i would
#26
Been listening to this for a few days now and it's fantastic. Not one weak track on the album. Shall be buying it on Monday no doubt.
#27
Lol, i like how hundreds of albums at 99p reach 880 degrees, in more than 4 days. Yet this reach's 432 in 1. This site can be very weird at times.
#28
Darryl it's because it's an outstanding album and 3.99 on release day is an absolute bargain. usually the release of a new album would cost about 7.99 or more for the download. Dave Grohl is my hero (good name for a song that) especially when he does stuff like this for the fans and releases the album at a low price.
#29
OOh, thanks. I'm off to see the FFs in July at Milton Keynes..very excited!!!

No, wanted to but it was £12.50 which is just too much especially when I paid to go and see the Blur film and it was on TV a few weeks later

Anyone know if you can buy a Back and Forth download anywhere ?

I'll buy the album but that is poor artwork IMHO
