The S series is the TV that does not stay true black as promised and panasonic are in court over it, as they are refusing to recall or give other tv's.

What an unbelivable deal..... I have purchased straight away! Great TV, stunning price considering that some HD Ready Plasma's are priced on offer at £400...... this is £79 pounds more for a Full HD TV with Freeview HD AND 5years warranty!!!!!! Cost-Co are the only ones who come close with the TX-P42S20 on sale for £416.99 as of the 1st of November 2010, also with 5 year warranty.

Sure there my be better options out there.... but at £200-£300 more! Save the money in most reviews this TV will satisfy your viewing pleasure....

FREENDAY Doesnt work tho :(

This is a brilliant TV, its got the new Panasonic panel inside it and its not the model that suffers from Blacks getting lighter after 1000 hours of use,.
Its the model down from the G20 and for this price its a steel, the G20 owners are having there own issues with there sets and the G20 is a couple of hundred more.
Plus you get a 5 year warranty and Panasonic customer service is fantastic compared with most other manufacturers, its a no brainer, for bang for buck its better than anything out there.
#25
Cheers, maybe instead of copying the full spec of the TV it should have been explained in the original deal posting. Just a thought!

FREENDAY is Nominated day not Next day.

I stand corrected!

At the beginning of the month M&S had this TV on deal of the day for £582 with a 'free' Panasonic Blu-Ray Player and in store it is priced at £649 so don't fooled by the £699 it was advertised for on their website prior to this offer. It is still very good value but I going to buy their Sony Bravia 40'' KDL-40EX503 with free Sony Blu Ray for £699 and claim the Vat back.

For info, it didnt accept this code, but at least M&S have corrected the website and it was showing free delivery at checkout anyway (approx 2 week wait).

It was £529 with free blu-ray only last week, but it was an error and they removed the blu-ray, cos i tried to order one and just missed out.

Ordered :)
Was just about to buy a Samsung today, but this is one is far better spec for only £75 more.
One drawback...got to wait for it to be delivered which could be 14 days :( lol
#34
This one is atleast future proof as well..... other models around the £400 mark will be out of date once HD is rolled out. Yeah ok there maybe better TV's out by that time but there will always be better deals round the corner as technology improves.

No matter what this TV is a steal for the price, can't wait for it to be delivered!

When you buy a TV from John lewis its there 5 year warranty to, if there is a fault with the tv they all just send out pretty much the same few repair firms depending on where you live, its either repaired or replaced, still rather have it than not.
