ENGLAND 2 SCOTLAND 3 WEMBLEY 1967:
The date, the 20th April 1967, the venue, Wembley Stadium, London. The event, England, the newly crowned World Champions of Football, versus the 11 men chosen to represent Scottish football. Captained by John Greig, Scotland's favourite sons not only beat the current World Champions, but during the most action-packed 90 minutes ever to be played within the legendary twin towers, they created a little piece of soccer history.
The Scottish heroes, including greats such as Greig, Baxter, Bremner, Law, Wallace and Lennox, totally outclassed the English greats, amongst them Hurst, Greaves and Charlton.
The Tartan army celebrated like never before as the final whistle blew and the result was: the World Champions 2, Scotland 3. Easy. Jim Baxter even had time for a wee game of keepie uppie in the middle of it all. We bring you the whole 90 minutes plus celebrations. Sit back, relax, and watch history being made.
