But women are genetically superior to men - natural selection and their driving ability provided them with airbags long before they were installed in cars!
#7
Now this gonna be interesting....
#8
We might need a man to fit it for us, but I expect the girlies will have to read the instructions!!!

:p:p:p:p

Bought one off Dealextreme for the little hubby, so that I don't have to stand outside to back him into a space.
Great deal for us girls for our "EXPERT DRIVERS"
#13
Do they do them in pink ?
#14
The sensors arent for each corner of the car though! They all go on the rear! You've slipped up there!
Mind you it took another male to notice that mistake!!!

I think you will find that insurance companies agree that women are the better drivers. Get your o/h to look it up for you:whistling:.
#18
Agree about the insurance companies, we can insure out car cheaper in my name and ive only been driving 5mths and the other half has 4 years no claims
#19
Stop being mean to women,
£50 is a lot of pocket money for them to save up.

Thats not because they are better drivers, they just make fewer claims as they are the ones who cause accidents by cutting poor blokes up, causing them to brake sharply and get rear ended, whereas the female drives off oblivious whilst using the rear view mirror solely for putting the lippy on!
#21
lol lol nice one my friend but dont let your missus know you
posted this one lol

Strangely enough, I never have any problem with women drivers doing the above, but i have had with men, in my 27 years of accident free driving!

Relative used to head up motor insurance for a UK firm.
General view was that woman would dither and have small scrapes, whilst men would be fine 99.9% of the time, then make one great big stupid ****-up.
Much like life.

Ever seen a man driver do this??? http://youtube.com/watch?v=fQKlyi_49gA

I was reading somewhere about the whole men vs women drivers, men in theory should and normally do make the better drivers. The differences in the way the male brain operates to the way females brains operate lends itself more to the skills necessary for driving... spatial awareness, sense of direction etc etc.

When the ladies like to counter with the insurance argument, what they are actually stating is women have less accidents than men, not actually who makes better drivers. You may think the two are related but it doesn't necessarily work that way. There was a good analogy that I can't remember.

When we talk about the differences betwen men and women and driving accident statistics, there should really be a third category of driver in there... the young male driver!! this is a different breed of driver completely to a more mature male driver, hence why insurance costs level out between sexes as you get older.

Yes men have the necessary skills that should make them better drivers, but I have found that men are too agressive when driving and that is what lets them down.
#28
I think women have less accidents coz men see a woman driver and are "on alert" for her mistakes therefore they're less likely to crash into the guys that auto notice a woman driver and think "better watch out for her!".

Not saying that they WOULD cause mistakes... guys just are always on "woman driver" alert and keep distance! Good for us gals tho

most women wont need men to fit these in for them

they can use the holes they already made in the rear bumper while reversing.

That'll be why the wife's insurance took as steep dive in price when she added me on the policy as a second named driver then:whistling:

is that 13,563 miles over that 27 years, years really count for nothing it's how many miles you do hence why you pay more if you tell them you do 30,000 miles a year

#36
wait a minute.......

Are women allowed to drive in this country ?
#37
Take the test and prove who is better at parking:

#38
Anyway, this is about PARKING which most women are useless at. Something to do with spacial awareness. Come on girls, admit that at least.

To be fair there are good women drivers and bad men drivers.

Having said that, when was the last time a woman driver let you out of a side turning, chaps?

this always seems to be the case .... always add a partner or spouse to your policy and it always reduces the policy. I added the wife as named driver & my quote dropped from£860 to less then £600.

Anyway back to the point - I'd never actually let her drive the car, i prefer to keep all my panels in the right place, ie. not lodged in the gate of the driveway:whistling:

Actually I tried to add her onto my policy last year and guess what... 3...2...1.... We have ignition, moonward bound

What Rizla says does seem to be correct about spacial awareness issues. I can normally park in one go (sometimes it takes more than one in those bumper/fagpaper situations) but the wife just HAS to go back and forth and back and forth and.... yeah.... She gets the right **** if I comment on it too

Edit: Ohh that was good. I've been gagged and denied the net all evening as Onetels DNS server seems to be completely ******. All hail the BT DNS server :-D
