£149.99 @ Argos
Recently reduced to £169.97 in Halfords, Argos now have this reduced to £149.99 & Free delivery. Will probably hold its value better than a Ford fiesta. Will probably get cold because of the weight…

Will probably get cold because of the weight, however you will need to spend a lot of money to get lighter

The Ford B-Max folding bike with a hand-made hinged steel frame and reliable componentry. The compact design has a folding frame, folding handlebar and a right hand side folding pedal. The B-Max folder benefits from having 16 inch wheels for a stable ride. Full length mudguards provide extra protection to help keep road spray and dirt off you. This model also benefits from a comfort saddle and ergonomically shaped comfort grip. For your convenience, they have included a rear carrier.

Its not really designed for the Tour de France. However it will get you from the carpark to the office, as long as there are no steep hills.

you can get a 20inch folder for 130, a gnats cock heavier, plus doesn't pretend to be a car.

The description doesn't seem to say gear ratio but it isn't likely to so high that you can't pedal up a hill of 5%. It will get you round most cities for what it's designed to do

Weighs a ton. Not much of an issue for short commutes. More for lugging up flights of stairs to the office etc!!!!

I never said anything about the Tour de France, I have a folding bike & With the small wheels I think that having gears would make life a little bit easier, after all isn't that the whole point of them being inveted in the first place.

Get you round most cities with hills less than 6%.
So it must be useless for town's with a few steep hill's then.

It's not easy to ride your bike once you've broken a semi.

Well done for seeing that they weren't on folding bikes in the first place.
My eyes didn't get past the obvious.
Great avatar though (_;)

I'm still trying to think, what is so important that you needed to pass?

I assume that you're in your 60s if you believe that fords rust. Days of Dagenham dustbins are long gone.

Edited By: dai bonehead on Oct 06, 2016 14:14: Typo. Again.

not so sure about that - the 2006 on Mondeo door bottoms rusted out (sealant soaked up moisture), the first model KA was at least as rusty as a Ford Cortina of the 60's (take the sills off and see 4x50mm spots of wax carelessly applied whilst the rest rusts away as lightly painted steel) , the Ford focus of the 2000's has serious issues with chassis rust......I spend time welding these up.
Surprisingly Vauxhall seemed to have cracked corrosion proofing......and Japanese built Toyota's last forever when the body is galvanised .
