Not sure what the delivery charge is for cycles as it isn't quoted on the website so you need to go through checkout to get a price.

They are good as training wheels but when racing in a TT you would probably want something deeper and wider. And with lower rolling resistance tyres.

Can someone recommend decent out of the box bike for burning calories around local villages? I'm 6''4 and 110kg.

Only joking btw. I'm no bike expert but have been doing a little research myself on brands etc for a commuter road bike. From what I can see decathlon bikes (b'twin brand) seem to be repeatedly recommended as being exceptional value for money. I'm hoping they do a bike sale sometime soon. :)

I'm also no expert, however I am of similar size to you so might be able to help.I bought a specialized carve comp mountain bike with a 29inch wheel and a 61cm frame, I bought it used via eBay and I've enjoyed it a great deal. Hope this helps.

WIth all due respect, at such a weight, certain bikes may be not suitable. The frames often come with weight limits (Scott at 110kg) so you should make sure to find one that has a higher weight limit.
Also, you want to be choosing at least 32 spoke, if not 36 spoke wheels otherwise you are likely to end up going through spokes at a pretty fast rate!

Weight is only temporary will go down to my usual 103 soon. Whith such a road bike I wouldn't be able to ride it on pavements and other surfaces than road would I?

You may want to consider starting your cycling adventure with something more suited to your weight and posture. A hybrid bike will have a far sturdier frame, stronger wheels and wider tyres. Disc brakes are a good idea for beginners.
If you insist on a road bike check out what has become known as "gravel/adventure" road bikes. Most will effectively be a hybrid bike with drop handlebars.

For a moment I thought this had a carbon frame. Which would make this an amazing deal.
Not a bad price if you insist on owning a TT bike.

Hey, TT bikes are awesome!

Im no expert but the RRP (which is £1500) is quite laughable given the components that it comes with.

Frome are a great brand, but the original RRP is madness.

If your car is that cheap then you'd probably be better off with a bike:p

Just go to Decathlon.
I have the Triban 500SE which was £280. I've used it for Sportives and Triathlons and it has handled them all perfectly. As a starter road bike I don't think it can be beaten.
I'm just waiting for the Giant Propel Advanced SL's to go into sale...
