Price shown should be £119.99 inclusive of delivery - quidco is not guarunteed.
£33 off RRPs combined. Not bad but PGR is uber cheap now, and Forza has had a couple of very good deals posted too. The wheel isn't the best on the market (see misc thread for an interesting comparison)

Yeah thats the only topic i could find. Although the reviews for the Logitech are good, all comparison reviews seem to rate Microsofts higher. I personally bought the ms wireless one a few weeks ago (tried it with Forza and Dirt demo). Although it was ok, it didnt feel too robust and the headset socket produced alot of background hissing noise. So i took it back and got a refund. Its a pity the high end logitech wheels dont work with the 360.
Heres hoping Fantec produce a wheel for the 360 - their Speedster3 wheel is easily the best on the market for any console  With the exception of the logitech MOMO, which is compatible with the PS2 ...

the MS wheel is easily of the highest quality, and the most important thing is that the Forza2 team built their game around the official wheel.

I beg to differ :whistling: It is 'good' quality, but compare it to PC racing wheels of a simliar price and the Fantec wheels and it doesnt compare. The internal bearing cog is made from cheap plastic (as opposed to metal) and is liable to break. Hence many modders are changing it for a more durable metal one. There are also many reports of noisey headset sockets, faulty dead zones, force feedback not working and wheels not centering correctly. At the end of the day its an 80 quid wheel and you expect better quality for that.

Another minor bugbear i had with the wheel is that it is missing the anologue sticks. Especially the right analogue which is used to look around the interiors of cars (PGR3 / TDU) or in the case of PGR3 the sticks are used to move around the garage. PGR3 has a 'wheel A' configuration setting to use the d-pad to look around the dashboard - only it doesnt work

... dont let the sprayed on metal paint convince you otherwise as to its 'quality' ... unfortunately it is currently the 'best' wheel currently available for the 360.

Build quality appears to be iffy tho.....
The 2 main problems appear to be the wheel not centering properly and excessive vertical movement of the wheel due to use of a cheap bearing. Admittedly these may be small in number or it may be high expectations by perfectionists but for £80 I would expect better....

There are 4 good reasons to get the Logitech wheel
1 It has feedback
2 The price
3 It has good reports on the Forza 2 forums
4 its not MS

The best buy if you take into account cost has to be the Logitech.
