Based at Damyns Hall Aerodrome, MJB Kites schools aspiring high-flyers in the ups and downs of what some say is one of the fastest growing sports in the world: power kiting. From the basics of kite handling to the intricacies of the pursuit's adrenaline-pumping derivatives, MJB’s instructors have the expertise to get participants of all ages and abilities off the ground.

Groupon kite runners can enjoy a two hour-long power kite lesson before sampling the wares with a one hour introduction to buggying and another hour’s crash course in land boarding. Suitable for all levels of expertise, those with some power kiting time under their belts already can receive tips on jumping, tricks and improving technique. All equipment and safety gear is included and sessions take place in groups of up to four kite flyers per instructor, making them fun, intimate and informative.

shame this is with groupon, I've NEVER had a good experience with groupon. But nice find though.

4 Hour experience, does that mean, 1 hour in front of a DVD player, 2 hours 55 minutes watching others fly then 5 minutes flying yourself?

More details would be required to get me interested in these....

I did a 2 hour rally experience 3 years ago and actually only spent 5 minutes behind the wheel myself... was well pi$$ed

Groupon gives you a rough breakdown of the experience, on their site, this info is also in the OP. If you wanted further details, a quick call to the centre would give you all the info you need. :)

I wasn't actually asking, I was merely pointing out that others may want to check to avoid dissapoint

Oh, and Groupon and the original OP don't tell you how much airtime you get....

My Rally experience said atleasdt 1 hour on the rally circuit but that meant driving around it slowly in the back of a 12 seater 4x4 to learn the circuit, it's all clever wording with these days out things

It's only £19 which is a great price for anyone wanting to have a go and learn....But you could also go to your local power kite meeting on a local hill and the guys there will let you have a go. I started at a club and then bought my gear after taking advice from the club members.
