Cracking price for a hilarious film!

From writer-director Chris Morris, (Brass Eye, The Day Today) and the co-writers of In the Loop and Peep Show comes FOUR LIONS - hailed by Total Film as "A brave and uproariously funny farce composed from a rare formula: heart, brains and belly laughs".

Four men in a secret flat are recording martyr videos. They agree they must strike a blow. But they disagree about everything else. For Omar they must attack Britain and “bring havoc to this torture endorsing Disneyland”. But Barry insists they bomb a mosque and bring on armageddon. So Omar splits the group, taking loyal but “thick as fudge” Waj to training camp and leaving Barry behind. Furious, Barry recruits new members indiscriminately, while in Pakistan Omar and Waj find that inexperience, arrogance and a loaded rocket launcher are a recipe for total disaster. Sent home in disgrace Omar rashly takes the entire project on himself – doubly difficult since the cell now includes the eccentric Faisal who trains kamikaze crows to fly into “towers full of ****” and a rapping student who may be Special Branch. Blunders ensue, plans unravel, and in a hilarious and breathtaking climax Omar finds himself with no option but to outrun a closing security net by hurtling towards the London Marathon in a van full of explosives, fancy dress costumes and a cell of ill prepared berks.

It's a movie? The accurate portayals of Muslims had me thinking this was a documentary.

Yeah...I heard the families of the 7/7 bombings got together to go see this and thought it was hilarious. They left the cinema thinking that the bombers were just misunderstood and that really they only had good intentions. It really made them think, you know?

You obviously haven't watched the film then have you if you're under the impression the film suggests they "only had good intentions" Why not try actually researching something first rather than coming up with a half assed comment

Yep, I got blown up yesterday by a Muslim lady, and today my head is hanging sideways off of my head; just barely managed to escape!

As usual, keep commenting on 'teh interwebz', oh mighty English Crusaders.

Hilarious movie, btw.

When being attacked for the actions of a few, self-deprecation is not the worst trait in the world. Heck, the Irish became the biggest exponents of it - self-deprecation, that is.

A famous quote, paraphrased nonetheless, springs to mind upon reading comments like yours; 'keep hold of your head whilst all those [ three in the case of 7/7] are losing theirs around you'

The scenes during the end credits seemed out of keeping with the rest of the movie for me which was just one funny ****-take throughout. Okay it still kind of mocked them but not entirely, it allowed them to speak about their cause and gave it some credence, as if Morris wanted to let them have a tiny bit of respect.
