If you're after a DVD of this film you probably know what it is already but....

DVD Description:
A handful of young men set out to take on the decadent West but are more of a threat to themselves than anyone else in this black comedy from the creator of Brass Eye, Chris Morris. Omar (Riz Ahmed) is a devout Muslim living in the United Kingdom who has decided to form a terrorist cell to bring forth a jihad against a culture he believes is dominated by the sinful and ignorant. However, Omar isn't much of leader, and he's assembled an unimpressive team of fellow terrorists, among them Waj (Kayvan Novak), who lacks the brainpower to come up with ideas or direction on his own; Faisal (Adeel Akhtar), who is shy and doesn't have much to say; and Barry (Nigel Lindsay), a recent convert to Islam who tries to make up for his lack of practical knowledge with fierce passion. As Omar and his comrades debate both doctrine and methods, they ponder such notions as using birds as explosive devices, creating video communiqués with a hip-hop flavor, and attacking mosques in an effort to provoke non-violent Muslims. But are Omar and his partners a legitimate threat to the safety of Great Britain, or just four half-bright twenty-somethings with more bluster than imagination?

Next cheapest seems to be £6.99 at various online retailers and next cheapest in store seems to be at HMV where it's currently selling for £8

To balance things out here a bit lol I really enjoyed it too, as a fan of Chris Morris' previous stuff I wasn't disappointed by this.
#5
Funny all the way through.

I was luckily enough to get it for £3 on release from Amazon, but this is a good price currently.

Guaranteed to amuse.

Yep, massive gullible muppets the lot of us. Oh what morons we are for enjoying this movie. Oh how we aspire to be like you.
I thought it was hilarious, but I guess I'm just one of those types...

cold this film should belong in the 1p bargain basket bin, a total disgrace and an attempt to bring some weird comedy value.

One of the best films I have seen in a few years. Comedy provides a truly accessible medium to provoke a re-evaluation of our (mis)conceptions.

The best thing to learn from this film, is that prejudice is what divides us as a community, and thus strengthens the position of those who wish to dominate us (or terrorise us).

What to do? 'Keep calm and carry on', as we did on 8th July 2005, get back on the tubes, buses and trains, and quite importantly, keep laughing.

I like Chris Morris' older stuff but this film was just plain crap. Chavs find it funny though. So if you're a chav or you haven't watched anything that is actually funny before, get it as you will think it's the funniest film in years apparently.

What does being a chav have to do with liking/disliking this film?

I very much doubt anyone who has commented to say they enjoyed the film is a chav.
I think you're probably a bit of a snob

I have to say after seeing a lot of comments disappear from this thread the moderation technique on here is rather aggressive isn't it...

possibly the dumbest comment i have read on this website - does the following apply to you?

"I'm Brick Tamland. People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks. Years later, a doctor will tell me that I have an I.Q. of 48 and am what some people call mentally retarded"

Wow. I found this comment funny upon reading it, but having now looked at your avatar it is downright hilarious. Perhaps one day the BAFTA award winning Chris Morris, one of the countries most prolific comedians, can aspire to make a comedy about a hypersexual cliche with a catchphrase. Guaranteed to amuse. Certain types, anyway.

mixed reviews here, I thought it was great. Chris Morris is a living legend!

Great price (even though I got it at Amazon for £3 a while back)
#39
Thought this was great and very funny. I like Morris' stuff in general. This was both weird and hilarious.

Brought the DVD into work to lend around (IT support people) and everyone seems to think it's the funniest thing they ever saw and haven't stopped going on about it since.

Decent enough price, but given the fact that so many people 'don't get it' I'd expect to pick it up cheaper though or this price on BluRay.

I'll name you two: This Is Spinal Tap and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.

My top two comedy films.
