Card allowance ? - I tried this when the offer was first posted, and never use one of these foursquare deals before.

As in 'Limited to 15,000 Cards'. If you tried when it was first posted that would sound like it wouldn't be the case, was just a thought.

No specials show on my app for Argos or Tesco! But they do on the website! Anyone else getting this?

I'm in the same situation - just can't get this to work :(

Possible the card allowance is used up.

Some updated info, mainly around gift cards...

Pizza Express

Combined this with my free 2 month Tastecard to have two three course meals and 2 drinks each and tip for £10 a head after the discount. (E.g. Total bill = £30, minus the £10 discount take it to £20 split by two).

Purchased a giftcard with additional Amex. Was told in the restaurant that the credit was good for a year, but their website states 2 years here.

Zizzi

Purchased gift cards, told they are valid for 18 months, ties up with what their website says here.

ASK

My local restaurant had run out of cards. Was told though firstly that they were valid for 6 months, then the waiter checked and said they're valid forever......checking their website here it's 18 months.

well the 2 month free tastecard turned out to be a hot deal for you :)

Has anyone used the ASK offer and had any success or issues with it?

To answer my own post (sadly :D) I used it at the weekend. All fine and £10 credit already showing online.

well done on answering your own question Morgie ;)

p.s. the packages came for sun glasses hut and it was only one delivery. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

random one here - has anyone had probs with the foursquare app using loads of mobile data over the past month? I had to disable the location tracking and app when I found it had used £7 worth...

Thanks OP. Not sure what I've done wrong, but when clicking on the 'Spend £30, get £10 back' banner in Foursquare app, nothing happened. Worked fine for Tesco, and got notification about the credit before I even left the car park!
Eventually (after quite a lot of perseverance with the app), I've managed to add this special offer to my card. I went back at lunch today and got the £10 back notification within a minute of paying. Wish it'd been this straightforward the other day!
Good stuff. Did you have to use the Swarm app now also?

Swarm not required as that and the offical app are now seperate entities so no check in required

Not sure you can load to your card without checking in? Are you on Android or iOS....?
Loaded it to my card from the Foresquare app yesterday (whilst at home), didn't check in until I was there this lunchtime. I'm on Android btw.

Well as good as this deal is for those with an iminent need to spend a ton at DSG, i found i could only justify a small spend right now so i took the T Mobile treat van thingy and used the code today for £5 off a £30 spend at Currys.

Almost found an amazing deal with regards to the Logitech Harmony 600 remotes on a clearance and down to £9.67 - but sadly none in stock :(

Only 10% off a £100+ spend ?

You can get this (at least) with a haggle.

Voted hot as it is a deal and is ideal for those that have a problem haggling

Seriously? No chance of haggling on a £100 spend!

Why not? - its only a matter of having the guts and willingness to walk to the next retailer

The guts to walk to the next retailer? lol!. If that takes guts then I imagine you're one gutsy dude.

Comet dead, Woolworths dead, Dixons gone from the street, GAME just about surviving, HMV sinking... Was that you and your "discount negotiations" by any chance :p

Probably, they screw me I screw them - they don't have to sell to me - I'll just move on to someone who has got their costs under control

What next retailer will haggle with you? John Lewis, Tesco?????? I spend that a week in Tesco but dont try to haggle. Maybe i should call the manager and ask him for 10% off.

If you think that electrical margins are much more than 10% you are mistaken.

Your the one who is mistaken turkey - try 40%!

Joker.

Your wrong and you know your are speaking out of your rectum so you result to insults - its surprising how brave people are when they are not face to face

If Joker is a insult, you are perhaps too touchy. Look, if youre saying the margin on a £100 hdmi cable is 85% then, yes, i would agree. Electrical retail runs on very tight margins. Certainly nowhere near your 40% quote.
