Ordered. Looks like a great deal to me.

Ten discs of mediocrity or Kurosawa's Seven Samurai. Same price.

Gotta back sparc on this one. A quid 50 each for 10 generally (before all the Big, Full Full Monty or Commando fans pipe up) pretty low grade titles OR so many other deals for a smaller number of top notch titles - there seem to be plenty of pretty good triple packs at the mo' for prices where you'd get 6 or even 9 decent titles for this sort of money.......

colonel john matrix could have taken all 7 of those samurai with one hand tied behind his back!

good deal if you ask me...

its not really about whether the deal agrees with your clearly culturally superior taste in movies. Its whether its a good deal or not!
Thats £1.60 a film and by anyones standard that is a very good deal

Choices recently had a stack of DVD titles for 99p....because they were that cheap did not make all of them good, some were, some weren't (IMO & I accept people have different tastes).

These boxset regularly have stripped down versions with zero extras, sometimes 2 films to a disc & have generally very low resale values. It's only a quid & a half if you want every single film here, otherwise if you say that half are good then you're paying 3 quid each for some films that have been out for donkey's (that if you rated so highly you'd probably have picked up around the £2.99 mark anyway) & getting some free films that you'll maybe watch once assuming you don't turn 'em off part way through.....
