No girls ones? Why can't girls have a bed with racing cars on? Do we have to force them to love pink princess castles from the moment they're born? Can't we encourage them to aspire to be racing car drivers, pilots and engineers? Not just fairy princesses and hairdressers?

my daughter would love this :) she got a princess elsa dress for her birthday off her nan but spent all day wearing her brothers fireman outfit :) she loves her cars and batman. we spent the first 3 years of her life correcting people who thought she was a boy because she wore blue or had a car in her hand. sad world we live in. my eldest plays with dolls and I don't mind that he gets funny looks. training him to be a good dad when he's older :)

That's odd, because I've just bought one for my daughter.

I'll check the manual when it arrives, but I'm pretty confident they won't contain any specific genital requirements

I know what my daughter needs and it is not for any of you to decide. If your kids love racing cars that is great for you. Enjoy. My daughter loves dinosaurs and princesses. So no good for me, no matter what any of you think.

Unfortunately that's the REAL world we live in! Everyone on this gender neutral, let girls be boys & boys be girls rubbish that they jump down your throat and don't even consider your girl might actually like pink fairies. But you say anything about a boy and his barbies then it's pitch forks and fire sticks.

thanks for the post OP, considering for my eldest son. I know many girls who would not like this bed at all. Sorry, I dont get the mum's who jump down other people's throats regarding the girl/boy thing. OP made an innocent comment and knows her daughter would not like that. We have a mum at the school who has a daughter who is not into pink etc and always bangs on about this all the time, equality for all etc....it's draining. My younger 3 yr old son likes pink and I have bought him some 'girls' toys in the past. Does not mean I need to protest and grit my teeth at the lady in the shop just because it was classed this way. Why cant people just get on with it and buy whatever they need to buy regardless of labelling, what's the big deal here? Sorry, feel quite strongly - and irritated about it, especially as it's forced down our necks most days at school by this mum.
