I posted this deal 10 days ago but the price has dropped from £64.98 to £61.68 now, if I should have amended first post then apologies.
I have been looking at upgrading my case,2 main reasons, I need a quieter case and operating and gaming temperatures. Looking at reviews and deals posted on here this case seems to be a great buy and ticks both them boxes. It comes with 2 R2 fans but has the potential for up to 7.
Most reviews I have read rate this case very highly.
Haven't received mine yet ordered Sunday, so trying to contact them to get difference back lol.
Usual Quidco and Topcashback available too.

Edit: Amazon have price matched (thanks jc314) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fractal-Design-Define-R4-Case/dp/B008NFWNFO/
Edit edit : Price now dropped to £60.99 at both ebuyer and amazon have price matched again.

I own this case, its great although if you are looking for quiet fans the fractal ones aren't very good(even on slowest rpm).
I went for 4 of the noctua redux ones and just bought the noctua d15 as the cooler (£75 on scan). remember the r4 uses 2 x 140 in the front not 120s

I'd have to disagree on the fractal fans. I have mine running on mid speed and are as quiet (near silent) as any I've had before, inc some Noctua P12's. Excellent case as you say though.

Looks a nice case and I am looking to upgrade but my main concern is the lack of GPU cooling on the side my HAF X case has a huge 200mm side fan seeing as I have SLI cards on air too I don't think I want to risk it until the GPUs are water cooled and then hopefully the white R4 with side panel will be this price.

There is a place where u can fit cooler on side panel for gpu's. Didn't measure it but looked like 120mm. I might be wrong about the size, check it somewhere online.

You might of got faulty one? Mines are also dead silent unless you turn them on 12v as I'm using the fan controller. I have the windowed case too and even then I can't hear them.

Excellent case and the fans are near silent for me too. This isn't the window case so there is a mount for a side fan on the side panel although the case only comes with 2 fans.

This is a lovely case. Beware it is quite large, mine feels deserted with just a ssd in it. :|

It is almost completely silent with the case fan on the lowest setting. Even on max they make a fairly modest swoosh and the extra airflow stops the gpu and cpu fans spinning up too much when I play games.

That's exactly want I wanted to hear I upgraded my gpu in the Autumn and it's not been too bad but now with the summer temps it's getting a bit too warm in the case. A lot of people have said it's rather big which put me off a bit but then you have more room for airflow I guess.

I was in SCAN a few days ago, looking at the cases.. I own an R4 and there was one on the shelf....compared to most of the cases the R4 was small......

I run all stock coolers that came with case. Optimized them by latest Asus motherboard software and case is dead silent. Chassis fans run at ~500rpm and doesn`t need to speed up while gaming. No OC at the moment on any of components tho.

I tried to do a flubit and got it for 57 odd quid when it was posted before for £64.98 but then the expected delivery went from 1 week to August oO. I emailed them and they said it was definitely the case did I want to cancel, which I did. Stock levels maybe be better now.

Got mine yesterday from ebuyer and very pleased with it, very quiet don't know it's on.

Edit: I moved the top fan to the second slot as it was taking the cold air from the cpu cooler, doh!

Has anyone who ordered this through Flubit actually received their case? I placed my order just after this deal was posted, and it's still awaiting dispatch. Am finding Flubit less than reliable lately. Cancelled orders and long delays are making me think it's not worth using them.
