Fracture

Fracture advances players to the year 2161, where ecological and seismological disasters have radically altered the planet's landscape, and a clash in ideologies places society on the threshold of war. Players set foot on the frontlines as Mason Briggs, a demolitions expert fighting for the Atlantic Alliance. Pitted against the genetically enhanced soldiers of the Pacifican army, players will experience a revolution in 22nd-century warfare.

In utilizing the core gameplay mechanic of Fracture, a destructive technology known as Terrain Deformation, players are equipped with an arsenal of futuristic weaponry to strategically reshape their surroundings on the fly. Every action they perform dynamically reshapes the earth in ways no videogame has ever seen. When Briggs throws a tectonic grenade on a level battlefield, the ground blasts upward to provide access to an otherwise unreachable area. Moving on, when he comes across what appears to be an impenetrable structure, Briggs utilizes the alt-fire functionality on his rocket launcher to create enormous craters to burrow underneath the wall. Surrounded on all sides by enemies, Briggs heaves a vortex grenade, creating a swirling tornado-like mass of boulder, dirt and debris to dispatch his foes. These are just a few samples of the possibilities for Terrain Deformation. Players not only change the battlefield - they change the face of the battle itself

eh, in english?

Yes it was in english it was just not grammatically correct, but if you can read it said it very cleary

"try to complete the first level on the hardest diff and see how long it is"

that seems quite easy to understand to be honest

This looks like another Tesco Misprice - if you search for Fracture there is a version for £26.97 and given that the £3.97 "version" gves no details about the game etc it looks a bit iffy. But it was good spot.....
#18
Ordered at that price its worth a shot
#19
Good spot. Also anyone having problems with the 2 pound vouchers from the L4D 2 fiasco, give them a ring, they'll sort it out for you by just adding 2 quid to your ewallet for you so you dont have to mess about with the voucher, sadly already used mine on rockband today but very tempted to get this too. Just for the info CEX buy for 4 quid and exchange for 6 quid

MORE UNDER £5 GAME DEALS PLEASE....MOAR MOAR MOAR....

Please excuse the caps....just a tad overexcited.
#21
Nice find mate. Looks like a bit of the usual run-and-gun game but with wanting to use the Left 4 dead 2 code, £1.97 is worth giving this one a play. Cheers.
#22
Trying to order but at the end it mentions 3D secure. 'Below you will find your card issuer's 3-D Secure website' and there's nothing there but a gray box. clicked everything off, just hope I get it.
#23
Thanks just ordered but still havnt recieved don king from tesco when that was also £3.97 even after they've sent two replacements
#24
Anyone having problems with the left4dead £2 code, it seemed to work when i wasnt logged in, but then log in and it goes! Just email them / call them and tell them how pants this is and they'll credit your e-wallet with the correct amount. I got mine updated and it works much easier!
#25
Sorted, Though won't go through if using Opera
#26
Ordered for £3.97 and received email to confirm. Great find OP, cheers. H + R added.
#27
Supposed to be a pretty poor game but for £1.97 (£2 Tesco code) + quidco seems worth a punt!

H+R added :)

cheers mate you just reminded me that i still have the £2 off code, so i've done the same as you! :santa:
#29
Don't enter the code until you are logged in. Worked fine for me that way, and I'm using Firefox.

Got my GF's 10% staff discount as well, so let's pretend it gets accepted - £1.77 is worth a punt in my opinion.

Thanks OP.
#30
Ordered with the L4D2 code I got.

I entered the code after I logged in and it worked :) I used my Nokia N97 on the way back from a footy game :)
#31
LFD2 £2 code - If you lose the discount after entering it and logging in, it does seem to come back eventually (took about 6 hours for me). Trick is to log in before entering the code. Failing that, do as others have suggested and give customer services a ring and get a £2 ecredit. You may be lucky and also get your code working again later!

Doubt it's a misprint I think it's only about £9 in Morrisons normally so I think the other £29 version on their site is more likely the misprint. Anyway here's wishing luck to anybody who's ordered it.
#32
Thank you i too ordered using my code from the l4d2
#33
ordered @ £1.97 using l4d2 code
#34
Heat added and ordered £1.97 using L4D2 code also through Top Cashback and 6 clubcard points lol
#35
L4D2 don't seem to work (even after logging in) :(

Hot anyway!
#36
Forgot about my L4D2 code, cheers for the heads up. Had my interest at £4, but £2 is too good to not try this. Metacritic rating: 63
#37
also used the l4d2 £2 code, wouldnt be surprised if Tesco mess things up again, but think the code was expiring on the 31st
#38
Anyone got it shipped yet? :)
#39
Erm.. just seen, it's been taken off!

EDIT: http://www.shopto.net/XBOX%20360/VIDEO%20GAMES/XB2FR05-Fracture.html £3.94

If they do i wonder what they will give us this time? Our £2 voucher back that needs to still be used b4 the 31st? lol
