Hey baby I hear the blues a-calling toss salads and scrambled eggs....

I already have this on DVD twice and tempted to buy it a third time. That's just how good this show is! Love it. Who wouldn't want to get this for Xmas?!

264 episodes, 5808 minutes of incredible comedy.

Buy this & the complete Cheers box set with the code VBOX10 for a grand total of £62.08 - probably the best price ever for these 2 together.

Great series, nice find op!

It is a great show. Fraser and Miles really crack me up... Miles especially, he's just so posh. Can't really see what he sees in that Manc maid to be honest.

Brilliant show although, like a lot of US shows, it overstayed it's welcome by a couple of series.

*Niles haha. It is funny how Daphne changes from a common Manc to this posh American in the space of a few series.

Was so tempted by this on Amazon Lightening deals, think it was the same price, but I saw it at £25 once so I'm still hopeful it will come down again!

Such a great show. Doesn't talk down to it's audience which is why it's worth a re-watch if (like me) you first watched it as a young teenager.

Miles? Are you watching a different series? The Frasier I watch has Niles in it :)

Thanks so much OP - I was a bit miffed when amazon had it at this price in their lightning deals but I kept missing out!

Never gets boring, and it's dated far better than most American sitcoms of the era. Full of charm, great characters and great dialogue. It's my ultimate in "comfort viewing". Bargain price!

Frasier is still funny. The funniest bits are Frasier and his total incompetence with women. The irony of the show is that Frasier and Niles are psychiatrists and yet they are more psychologically messed up than their patients. 'I'm listening'

Such an incredible bargain for one of comedies very best shows.

Niles, while looking after a bag of flour (to try and mimic what it would be like to have a child):

*Turns up with bag of flour in one of those wearable baby slings* :

"I tell you Frasier, this baby thing is becoming all too real. Just last night I had a dream that someone kidnapped my baby, and was sending me muffins through the post as ransom"

Brilliant.

Nah, some great episodes right up to the end. See "High Holidays" and "Boo!" especially, some of the best.

And it's one of the few comedies where I actually liked the last episode.

Tempting, even though I've seen every episode @least twice! Why can't I get latest series of South Park, Modern Family, Parks & Recreation & 30Rock (full sets), even The Simpsons 22-26, all at bargain prices? Eh eh?

Ha I still record this every day on Channel 4, then watch when I'm going to sleep every night. Can watch over and over again and never get bored. Hot!

Which is best frasier or cheers?

Frasier without a doubt... though, if I may interject. It appears you have accidentally used the superlative form of the question, when in fact the comparative form would have been appropriate since we are only comparing two things. i.e. 'Which is *better*, Frasier or Cheers?'. Like I said, Frasier.

Would love to get this, but some of the reviews about the quality of the packaging and the marked discs are a little worrying... Can anyone confirm whether the discs still come in cardboard sleeves, or have Paramount now decided to upgrade the packaging to something more appropriate?
