But you have to walk out of Londis with the Daily Express under your arm. Therefore robbing you of all the credibility you might have left.

Off Topic but just out of interest....does anybody hate The Times? I think I've seen every paper on here getting stick from someone or other except for The Times (and possibly The Guardian?)

I do - mainly for the Murdoch link, but partly for its Europhobia and the declining standards of its journalism (ever increasing tabloid-type stories and fewer intelligent columnists, articles, etc).

Newspaper snobs are pathetic. Those that read the Independent, The Guardian and The Telegraph etc for example think somehow they're a cut above, whereas in fact they are just as brainwashed and braindead as any Daily Mirror, Sun or Star reader. People tend to read the rag that best reflects their own views, and I don't feel any need to apologise for anything I wish to pay money to read. I confess I inwardly sneer and despise Guardian readers, they're stereotypically such utter knobs.

As regards any freebies going, I'm happy to buy any paper if the initial outlay is dwarfed by the freebie offered and I am impervious to the uninformed and personally biased opinions of total strangers.
