Pity they don't give away honey. I'm trying to avoid sugar and just use honey but it's blinkin' £3 a jar.

They don't have my every day honey which is rowse acacia honey for some reason but they have manuka honey in a squeezy bottle which I've never seen before and will be stocking up on as I prefer the squeezy bottles.

Switching to honey has worked wonders health wise.

Local is best find local honey, ,
but even some of that may be artificially produced - bees wholly feed on sugar syrup, 45p kg sugar sell £6+ kg converted to "honey" OPEN FEEDING HONEY BEES sugar, corn syrup in drums to honey bee hives,Georgia Beekeeper . There is a guy in the west country doing this?

Ok if your buying the paper anyway but otherwise it's only a 23p saving on the sugar as they are 68p at asda n tesco

What makes you say local is best? I've read that it is best if you are using honey to combat allergies as it's something to do with the local pollen but is that the only reason?

I like acacia best as it doesn't have a strong honey taste and is quite pleasent. I take a spoon full mixed with cinnamon every morning and I very rarely suffer from acid reflux now whereas I used to take about 6 tablets a day.

I also used to take at least 2 pain killers every day due to leg pain and I don't take any at all now.

I used the manuka honey now and again. It's great for coughs and sore throats and I also use it externaly on wounds and as a face mask, it's great stuff.

According to that site though there is a producer not far from me so will give the local a try. Thanks.
