how is it free when the rest of the stuff ain't worth £50, i mean seriously a foxconn board, i'd rather have a dose ;)
It is a very good deal. Do you still need a VAT number to purchase through the AMD Channel site?
So this is like a "motherboard bundle"?

mmm not too sure, I still have an account from the last AMD promo last year.
No memory
Wow if this is true its a corking deal. You could sell the other bits on ebay and get at least ~£100
Is it just luck of the draw if you get a 920 or 940?!
Still have a login from the free phenom last year too, very tempted.
£179 when converted, not sure what shipping is.
thats an awesome deal!

done a quick google search and....
processor is worth a minimum of £137
cooler £11
mobo £89
GFX £63

They are the lowest prices according to google's shopping search. They are the exact products mentioned, not some other branded models.

i make it out to be £300 dead on.
You do need a VAT number unforunatel :( is it limited to 1 per company? If not Poot by another amd ship it to me, I'd give you £30 for your effort...! Or anyone else want to take me up on it who has a business account, or a business they cud use the VAT number of to set up an account?

It is EUR 23.65 for shipping, EUR 223,65 in total.
Is this really worth going for?
Depends if you want it? If you are building a system from scratch, this is a cheap way to do it.
Do I have to post a VAT number into it?
Well really I am just updating a PC, think I may gut it and go for this, what PSU does it need to run?
Please be very careful with this offer..
don't think this is a bargain,
the prices aren't that bad but above figure quoted is EUR 223,65, if you require a VAT number chances are that price is PLUS VAT maybe not.
other potential pit falls are warrenty and consumer protection does not apply to trade accounts
No you don't get charged vat on it, but if you were to sell it on things could get complicated. I've bought mine through my business, but it will be used with in the business and not sold on, so there should be no problems vat wise.

As for warranty, you are still covered by AMD, last year when they did the last promo, the one where you bought a mobo and got the cpu free, my friend had problems and amd simply replaced the faulty part no problem.
I received my kit this morning, I got the 920 cpu rather than the 940.
Is this for businesses only? I can't seem to work it out
Any news?
Would ]
have gone for this - no VAT number
