Free baguette worth 70p, Lidl on Mansfield Road, Nottingham. More branches to come perhaps?
This deal is so local as to probably not be any use to anybody, for Lidl in Carrington, Nottingham. Still worth a mention perhaps. They are giving away a free crusty baguette worth 70p until 29.04.12. In the entrance to the store is a basket full of the loaves, along with leaflets with a voucher to hand in at the till. No purchase of anything is necessary. I think they are doing this to promote their new bakery section. I guess there is a chance that this deal will be repeated at other branches following the introduction of the baked goods section, so I thought it was also worth mentioning for that reason. Keep your eyes out for it in your local branch if they have recently installed their bakery. This deal actually started in 23.04.12 but I only became aware of it yesterday.
