Thought this was a good deal on the official FA Store.

Free printing of the most capped outfield player on the new shirt.

Think the the new shirt designer has split opinion, but i personally really like it.

Of Beckhams 109 caps, he has started 99 of those games. Easy to mock, but still a big achievment.

SPAM !??! The OP is 2 poster !? sic ;-)

yeah it may be new and printing can be like £10 but £50 for a shirt is a joke, can't decide whether i even like it, :o

What are you suggesting there should be no more international football games!?

How is the number of caps Beckham has received "undeserved"? He earnt the caps based on his merit as a player!
#9
Certainly not worth £50 for a footy shirt !!!
#10
to be honest i think the design sucks, looks terrible in my opinion, its very basic fashion wise

Cold though, £50 for an England top is a joke

The only things with this is that shirt will come down in price drastically if you can wait. Sportsdirect, I believe, own a part of Umbro and so sell Umbro things very cheaply. For example the current england away shirt which was £45 when it came out is now £4.49 in store! I doubt this will drop that much due to the World Cup but it will certainly fall below £20. Hold out - if you can!

Football is a proper sport too. They have it in the sporting sections of newspapers and everything nowadays.

To be honest I quite like the shirt, I like polo shirts but in my opinion it's only worth £9.99 max

Your paying for the badge, £50 is a joke.

Exactly the attitude that ruins our country, name any other country where this sort of comment would be seen?

Dunno how a poor attitude to your national football team ruins your country to be honest - that's a bit strong!

#27
TBH, speaking of Sports Direct, I think this shirt looks like one of there £3.99 cheapo Umbro seconds with badges on!! Also, didn't Beckham wear number 17 last night?

£50, haha, absolute joke!!

I meant in no other country do you hear people constantly slate there national football team or slate there country in general but here its common place.

He may of only scored that many goals from free kicks but just think of the amount he's created, Assist can be as valuable as the goals.

Beckham still performs very well for England even though he's getting on a bit, He still looks like one of the better England players.

When he stops performing then that's when he should be dropped.

I agree with the gist of your remarks. We should be less critical of our national sporting teams and individuals.

On the real subject, I love the classic, retro look of the shirt but not the price tag.

I'm not the patriotic type. Where you are born is just an accident of birth and means nothing.
I really wish we could pull england out of international football or at least minimise the impact on the prem league/champions league etc

When he plays or not affects the whole team with what he brings....wags,his kids,is he signing for milan etc etc etc .....it's about the team not him....take off the utd goggles:whistling:

Could be worse - could've been Looney, sorry Rooney instead. At least Becks deserves to be in the team, ad doesn't have a paddy about it!
