Every time I have been to ASDA with a "free" voucher they have never had it. Sometimes it has all gone. Sometimes it has not yet arrived. Sometimes there is some problem which means that they are not going to have it. OK, I'll give it a try again. Hot if it works. Thanks for posting, please ignore my gripes. I don't take rejection well.

Great for free of course, but what about the roasts!?!

Birds Eye pies are full of additives and not good quality at all so hows is eating processed crap helping families get 100% out of life?
but its a good deal if you dont care about your family and what they eat :)

Bah Asda is 30 miles away so no good to me, hope some manage to make use of it, although encouraging people to eat processed crap is a bit of a stupid thing to do surely they could have chosen something healthier than a pie

Being forced to eat junk food because you are poor is just a myth. Frozen kilo bags of vegetables in supermarkets are generally under a pound, potatoes are cheap.

Can't advise on meat as I don't buy it (though if you are too poor to buy vegetables you shouldn't really be buying it either) but I know vegetarian alternatives can be bought relatively cheaply.

I once bought some Birds Eye "crunch crumb" coated cod portions.
They tasted disgusting and the fish content was around the size of a fish
finger. Even for free, I won't bother. I nearly choked when I read it
was a challenge to "help" families.

Every little helps! :p

I have 3 kids and am a single mother, before you turn on me, I am single because my husband died in a car accident not because I want a free house or cant keep my legs closed!

Getting a free pie is HOT when your on a budget as I am.
Having one pie, will not get my kids addicted to processed food, just as a Easter egg every year does not get them addicted to chocolate Or a trip to church to go as pageboys at a wedding, will not mean they suddenly follow some religion. And one pie will not drive my kids to being obese!!!
These are stupid statements.

Its a pie for free, that has to be a HOT deal, if you dont like the pie, give it to the dog or cook it and feed a big issue seller or such like.

Voted Hot thank you

Yay, I applaud you for shouting down the opinionated bigots X)

A free dinner is always good, time to cook from scratch another day.

This site is brilliant for saving money when people really need to. OK, it's also about quality and value, but it's news to me that it's about sweeping generalisations and snobbery. :|

People were merely pointing out that Birds Eye promoting this as "helping families get 100% out of life" is a load of rubbish.

Obviously its a good deal.

Well yes, that's just what advertising is..... "a load of rubbish" oO

We knew that already, does anyone with any sense actually listen to the blurbs?
