I would have thought so as it's the equivalent to their 6mth BB/Internet add on), but its best to double check with them :)

I just took out this deal too, but not for myself - as I'm on a very old, limited contract with them :)

Shame one of the boosters couldn't be the BB service though?!

This is a good alternative to Vodafone's offer of free BB service on PAYG until end of June 2011...

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/vodafone-blackberry-pay-as-you-go-i/791259

...for those that get better reception with T-Mobile than Vodafone where they live. However, no one in the Vodafone thread has mentioned anything about mandatory monthly topups which this T-Mobile offer seems to require.

The top up is to keep the unlimited texts only - which they offer on all their normal PAYG sim cards (the bb service and internet comes as standard). You can also use the Orange signal with Tmobile so more than likely can pick up reception literally anywhere!

Thanks, this is a brilliant deal OP.

Very useful for putting in a dongle.
#9
It's unlikely you will get normal internet access on these, they will be setup to use the blackberry internet service, which is different.
#10
Shame about the ridiculous call charges. I suppose you could carry around a cheap phone for texts and calls on ASDA or TESCO pay as you go and use this sim for internet and blackberry messenger only. Only problem is it would be a nuisance to carry around 2 phones.
#11
can this be picked up instore?

or can i just pop in any T-mobile sim and activate the BB services?

As T-mobile charge seperately for BB Service & Internet, you get 50mb of email with the BB service and 1gb of internet with the internet booster.

Flext 35 (£180 allowance to use on either calls, texts, picture messaging or voicemail) including unlimited evening and weekend calls to any network (capped at 10,000 minutes, but I can never get past 1000, lol). Pay £25 per mth (18mth contract). Call charges are 20p per minute if I go over my allowance, which is hardly ever :)!

Thats ace, i get flext 70 with £575 worth of alloowances which include landline and mobile calls, texts and picture messages, voicemail and broadband plus internet (3gb allowance, high speed and am allowed to tether), 08 numbers included inside allowance (0870,0844,0845,0800 etc) and international calls and texts to over 50 countries, landlines and mobiles, all deducted from my allowance and europe text (60 texts to send anywhere when im roaming in Europe) and europe calls (15 minutes to make and receive calls whilst roaming in Europe) and i get this for a grand total of £35 a month. I still struggle to finish off my allowances too.

Wow, yours is good too! We'd better cling on to these tariffs with our life lol

is there any scope at all for using one of these in a dongle or a non-blackberry phone, or is that just wishful thinking? i've read the posts above but they aren't clearing things up for me much!

also is there a minimum top-up to get the free internet access (the top-up is only asterisked from texts and rewards in the OP)?

I'm afraid you can't. BB internet only works on blackberry handsets and can't be used on any other handset.

..that's interesting because I have the BB service enabled on my sim but have never used it in a BB phone ,only in a Milestone android handset and the internet works ok!
.. I'm on a low tariff SIMO vodafone contract by the way so it may be set up differently
