If I had the money... :(

I don't think a free blu ray upgrade is reason to purchase. What does the blu ray upgrade cost Sony? £10? What does the laptop cost the customer? Several hundred quid.

... Blu Ray burner - maybe that's why they're having to recall some!
Sony to conduct a recall of its Vaio laptops, after problems with overheating were reported.
Sony said the problem affects more than half a million of its F and C series laptops sold since the start of 2010.

I already said that in the original post. The 14" comes with discrete graphics anyway so no need for extra upgrade on that.:thumbsup:

Sorry i didn't see that. I think the 15.6" E series is a good deal because it's only £658.99 with the following specs:

* Intel® CoreTM i5-450M, 2.40GHz
* Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium
* White
* 320 GB Serial ATA (5400 rpm)
* 3 GB 1066MHz DDR3-SDRAM
* Blu-ray Disc(TM) writer
* 39.4 cm LCD, 1920x1080, webcam
* ATI MobilityRadeonHD5470 512MB
* Office 2010 Starter
* McAfee® - 60 days protection

The 14" doesn't have Full HD
