It's because you could spend £40 somewhere cheaper and save more than this. E.g. the blueberries for example in tesco are £2 not £3.79

​Ocado prices do tend to be higher, but if you shop smart - Eg. flash sales, promotional discounts for specific delivery dates - you can do as well as anywhere else. And their customer service wipes the floor with the competition. I had a free Tesco delivery pass and just stopped using it after 3 consecutive deliveries that were over an hour late.
