The deal? The tap? Your health? For someone with more than 29000 posts, you still don't seem to understand how the site works.

If the deal is poor, wheres an alternative that's better?

If the item is poor, why?

If you're ill, then awwwww, I'm awfully sorry for you, but that's got nothing to do with the deal so no need to post.
#3
Because you dont want to buy the item its not a deal??

Some people would be forking out the £69 without the tap!! So to them its a deal! FFS

I give up I really do

The whole thing. You have to spend £70 (minus 10p) just to get a tap filter supposedly worth £195, which I doubt. But why should I explain myself to a newbie I dont know, and if you vote cold you have to give a reason . . . that's what I was doing. Next you pick on someone, pick someone who won't stand up to your bullying.

Its a kitchen tap with 2 filters you get for your money... you could pay this for a bog standard tap so why not a water filter tap? If you can find it cheaper then please be my guest..

In my eyes its a deal

£99.97 not inc delivery @ Tesco & no cartidges ...http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.204-0865.aspx
£168.44 @ Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/BRITA-Solo-Nebula-Water-Filter/dp/B000JI8ZNW
£156.99 @ Screwfix http://www.screwfix.com/prods/59392/Plumbing/Water-Treatment/Pegler-Brita-Solo-Nebula-Filter-Tap?cm_mmc=GoogleBase-_-Datafeed-_-Plumbing-_-Pegler%20Brita%20Solo%20Nebula%20Filter%20Tap

Any more proof needed?

Jeez!

The filter cartridges I used for my triflow tap at home were less than £60 for 6 months supply and only needed one cartridge. I can't remember the make because I haven't ordered one since the end broke off when trying to fit it.
Just don't believe the hype when a kitchen salesman tries to sell you one as though it'll replace a brita filter.

You shouldn't use these for all the water you use as they remove everything including the minerals that your body would find useful.

Have to agree with the O.P. here. Same old problem of people voting cold without doing any research. Then once it's a little cold it builds it's own momentum. By no means comprehensive, but it took me 5 mins to find similar results as the O.P.

Solo Nebula Tap is £100 from Tesco, but that is clearance.
http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=Solo+Nebula+Tap&hl=en

Cheapest I could find cartridge was £30.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/BRITA-Water-Filter-Replacement-Cartridge/dp/B000O555OW/ref=pd_sim_dbs_diy_1

So, net is a tenner for the tap, deal IMHO.

Seems good deal to me - these taps can be expensive. Heat and rep added.

Paying inflated price for the Brita name........sorry just not worth it even at this price.

I vote the deal hot but the product itself it not for me. You buy this then you're committed to spending £11.60 per month (based on 70quid for "6 months supply" in filters - according to Brita website). That's a lot of money - I could get a mobile phone contract for that or a broadband subscription, etc. This reminds me of the time I got sent a free razor from Gillette. It's a free gift as they want you to enter into a lifetime commitment with them to spend a fortune on their vastly over-priced razor blades every month.

Why are ppl voting this deal cold, it is coz of the cost in using one of these taps in the long run? Seems a blooding good deal when you are getting a tap supposively worth nearl £200, for buying 2 catridges for thier regular price of £30 each, BUT... how are the water from this tap compared to the water you filter through the jugs? NO, i'm not going to bother in researching this, got better things to do, can't justify the extra cost involved for having a nice looking tap in my kitchen, and extra running cost. Not voting cold or hot as it's a good deal if you really want to go down this route. Also, think some ppl need to claim down in here, we never look at things the same way, that's why these forums are so good as you can see other ppl point of view, just don't take other ppls comments too deeply. Yes, you are trying to help, but they are only saying what they think too.

am i on the right site here? is this is a DEAL website or a DATING website.
i truly couldnt care less what your opinion of me is. as im sure you dont care what,if anything i think of you.

the point is you are voting on things that you obviously dont have any knowledge of. for example : just because YOU "DOUBT" the value of this deal DOES NOT MEAN ITS COLD. have you found it elsewhere cheaper....? thought not. the fact that you DO doubt the value of this deal is proof in itself that you are voting on something that you know nothing about.
yesterday you voted the cheapest price yet seen on this site for "Wii sports resort", a VERY sought after item at the moment, COLD because..... er..... i might have been ****** off with some nugget,(not even you), who probably needs instructions on how to draw breath.why was that and how is that a good idea?

if it was to get at me - it obviously didnt matter to me because i had already bought it remember. BUT for the dozens,if not hundreds of OTHER people i was trying to help, YOU and the other PC police buried the deal in cold votes so hardly anyone else benefited from it. give yourself a big pat on the back, you hero. so in the end whos "attitude" cost the majority of the users on this site an opportunity to save some money?

i know nothing about a great many things so instead of showing my ignorance by making rash uninformed statements that might make me look foolish, i simply pass on those deals and leave them to people who are informed about them to pass their far more valid and informative opinions.why not give it a go? come to think of it isnt that the whole point of this HUKD?

Good deal if you want one. I reckon the Screwfix one would be just as good though.

burcrita1 has posted on MSE that Brita are now offering a filter tap worth £342.50 when you buy 2 cartridges for £69.90 including delivery. They posted the number you need to call and quoted request a reference number which it has since been revealed earns them three extra filters for each person who orders.

That post was removed because the poster didn't post their personal gains however someone else has posted and I have used their code to order the chrome tap worth £342 :) Brushed version is £50 more
