I just phoned up my virgin media to confirm my 10Mb upgrade from 2Mb (which is working fine) - and the women on the phone put me on a promotional offer to get all the channels free for 1 month's time.

The women on the phone also said after the 1 month period is over she will disconnect me from the promo offer - she said she will keep it in her diary?!? altho i will be phoning back after 1 month anyway just to confirm they have canceled the promo offer.

so 1 months free all channels on virgin cable, i got it and so can any other virgin customer i guess.

yes thats wot i mean

TBH, I would never trust Virgin to just disconnect you from a package after a free period. I would suggest to all that you phone them yourself to cancel as no doubt you will be billed for it.

In your dreams. NEVER take up a "freeby" from VM if you are in a fixed contract I did it once and it took me 6 months to get back to my old payment plan. They just charge a higher premium for your old service when the "free trial" period is up and argue that you have entered a new contract with the associated higher payments. NEVER make any changes with VM if your are in a fixed contract with a good price for your service. The "free trials" are designed to get some extra money out of you. Gangsters.

Agree 100% - they lied to me and I luckily I recorded the phone call. Soon I will be taking them to the small claims court to get my £80 back off them! :x

Remember this this is the old NTL company that had a dreadful customer relationship.

IT STILL DOES ! Never ever trust them. Many problems with them and despite many promises to resolve issues, they never do.

They've just sneaked a £1.50 per month on to my bill for a 'paper bill'. So as earlier message above "CHECK YOUR BILLS! "

Done that to me too. I'm 10 months into a 12 month contract. I thought they couldn't raise the price until the contract had expired. The CS rep told me that they can do this as I can opt for ebills. I told him I signed up for paper bills for £10 for 2MB BB, now I am being charged £11.25 so it's a breach of my contract. He would kept on repeating ebilling, ebilling, ebilling!

150 from your landline :)

Virgin Media, Virgin Mobile, you can't trust them, they have their own ideas about what constitutes a contract. You need to keep your wits about you.
