Just been into my local B&Q tonight and the offer which was listed on the 27th November has been extended to all customers. No voucher is required. Only realised when going through the checkouts and the checkout girl asked me if I wanted one free! I asked a bit more and they said that since the voucher ended in the Daily Mail on Saturday they opened the offer up to all customers!

I have decided that B&Q have entered the Christmas spirit, I spend loads in this shop and on Sunday spent another £40+ i just rang up and asked about the tree and was told that fine bring my receipt in and get the returns to do a refund and resell and take my tree away !

Also not to bring the items in just the receipt.

This offer is on from today until Friday.

Yay Christmas tree!!!

My first posting, so I have just gone back to check this out . The store has a voucher which it uses to process through the checkouts to clear all remaining stocks of the relevant tree. The store in Sutton had about 80 left this morning. It is open to anyone as long as you spend £30.

Completely agree, once did a 50 mile round trip to find that their reserve & collect system means you don't actually reserve or collect.... :x

I work there and can confirm that the online system is rubbish and is never updated.

It's a 4.5ft norwegian spruce, Real. RRP £14.99
Offer dates 1-6th Dec (or till stocks last) They're going quite fast so probably won't be around until the 6th.
If it's any help there were about 150 left in Blackpool store today at closing. I'm guessing they'll be gone by Wednesday.. just a guess though! :santa: :santa: :santa:

Got home last night to find that my wife had been to B & Q spending £32.

I asked if she'd got a free Xmas tree and she had no idea what I was on about.

A quick phone call to B & Q, where the girl knew nothing of the deal. After a minute she returned to confirm that the deal did exist but there weren't many left.

OH asked if they would put one aside as they had failed to advertise the offer when she was in store. B & Q said no, it's first come first served.

When we got to B & Q there only seemed to be "the last one on the shelf" tree left, but after a word in someone's ear and some name dropping, we got quite a nice one from a different pallet.

Heat and rep left!

great spot, just been and got one. It isn't advertised anywhere in store & the trees weren't even marked just in a cage (they were tightly wrapped in white nylon or summat similar).

Just ask one of the staff if they have any free trees for a £30 spend.

I had the same problem, my better half spent over £80.00 in there last night, buying christmas bits & pieces, I phoned them up & they said that their staff do not remind people about the offer as "there are signs throughout the store for customers to read"

He is going back today for the tree, we need it for our school as local businesses have stopped helping out, they are concentrating on Pudsey and helping children in need, I told them that our children were in need and charity begins at home to no avail, their stony brick-like hearts would not be melted!!

So does anyone know if this deal still on? I notice in the OP that is says buy on the 27th/28th November but the previous post was made on Wednesday. Any info would be gratfully received. Cheers.

The deal is still on if your local store still have stock. The deal is valid from 1st Dec to 6th Dec. I suggest that you ring your local store to see if they have any stock.

bought an artificial tree and they didn't have any of the freebie ones, at Romford or Harold Wood :-(
