FREE Cinema ticket when you buy 4 packs of chocolate* for £1.00 each @ ASDA

alextronautalextronaut

Waitrose and Tesco had this deal as well (not sure if still on). Now Asda has it. Sweets like Maltesers, M&m's, etc. with sweet sundays are reduced to £1. So if my math is right, 4 packets of sweets and a cinema ticket will be only worth £4. Thats a bargain. Not sure if available online. Here's the T&C:

Offer open to UK and Channel Island residents aged 16 and over only, except employees of Mars or Cineworld, Showcase, Movie House, Scott, WTW and Merlin cinemas, their immediate families and agents, and anyone else professionally connected with the offer.
The offer is running on the following promotional packs: Maltesers® 135g standard pouch and 230g large pouch, Maltesers® white chocolate 130g pouch, Galaxy ® Minstrels® 170g pouch and 290g large pouch, Galaxy® Counters® 140g standard pouch, Galaxy® Bites chocolate caramel 140g standard pouch, M&M'S® Peanut 185g standard pouch and 315g large pouch, M&M'S® Choco 185g pouch, M&M'S® Crispy 155g pouch, Milky Way® Magic Stars® 130g pouch, Revels® 140g standard pouch and 240g large pouch ("Promotional Packs").
To claim your free cinema ticket for a 2D film on a Sunday:

a) purchase the required number of Promotional Packs and visit www.sweetsundays.co.uk (the "Website") to enter the promotional codes found near the base inside those Promotional Packs. You will need to open an account by submitting your name and email address between 00:01 on 7th June 2013 and 23:59 on 8th November 2013;

b) register any of the following combinations of Promotional Pack codes in order to claim one voucher for a free cinema ticket:

i. two large Promotional Packs (230-315g); or
ii. four standard Promotional Packs (130-185g); or
iii. one large and two standard Promotional Packs.

c) select your preferred cinema and submit your claim for a voucher for that cinema via the Website before 23:59 on 8th November 2013.
No third party or bulk claims will be accepted. Claims received by any other means (eg in the post) will be rejected. Only one promotional account per person. Any claimant registering more than once will be disqualified from participating.
You may also enter further Promotional Pack codes in any of the combinations above to claim a second voucher. Maximum two voucher claims per person.
Each voucher can be redeemed for one free cinema ticket to a standard 2D film screening at a participating Cineworld, Showcase, Movie House, Scott Cinemas, WTW or Merlin cinema on any Sunday prior to 24th November 2013 (inclusive).
If you choose to receive a voucher for use in a Cineworld cinema, select whether you would like your voucher to be sent to you via email or SMS (there will be no charge to receive the SMS). To redeem your voucher for a cinema ticket at your selected cinema, simply print off the email with the voucher and hand this in, or show your SMS containing the voucher, when booking at a Cineworld box office. Alternatively, enter the code on your voucher in the "promotional code" box when you book a ticket via the Cineworld (www.cineworld.co.uk) website. No booking fee will be charged when redeeming the voucher for a free cinema ticket online, however any additional tickets purchased in the same transaction may incur a booking fee charge. The voucher cannot be redeemed by any other means (e.g. telephone booking).
If you choose to receive a voucher for use in a Showcase, WTW, Merlin, Scott or Movie House cinema, you will need to provide your postal address when you select the cinema on the Website. Your voucher will be sent via post to the address you provided. Your voucher will be received within 14 days of confirmation of your claim. To redeem your voucher for a cinema ticket at your selected cinema, simply hand in your voucher when booking at a Showcase, WTW, Merlin, Scotts or Movie House (as applicable) box office. The voucher cannot be redeemed by any other means (e.g. online or telephone booking).
The voucher is not valid for "premium" content films including any 3D films, or premieres, previews or premium seating, except at Showcase cinemas if the claimant pays the difference between the standard admission price and the admission price for that "premium" film/seat.
Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. The following cinemas are excluded from the offer: Cineworld Shaftesbury Avenue, Cineworld Haymarket, Cineworld Fulham, Cineworld Chelsea and WTW The Regal Cinema Wadebridge.
The claimant's use of a voucher is subject to the participating cinema’s standard terms and conditions, including refusing entry where the claimant (or their guest) is not of the required age to view their chosen film. The cinema manager's decision is final in this regard.
Vouchers may not be sold or exchanged for any other service. The offer is as stated and there is no cash alternative.
The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or terminate a claimant's account where the Promoter reasonably believes that account is being or has been used to engage in fraudulent or illegal activity or in a way that is contrary to these terms and conditions, without liability to the account holder. The Promoter reserves the right to reject any claim that does not comply with these terms and conditions.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for (i) any voucher claim, which, due to a technical error or any other reason, is not submitted or is delayed. Proof of submitting a claim is not proof of receipt by the Promoter; (ii) any voucher that is lost, delayed or damaged in the post or not received due to a technological error or any other reason; (iii) any technical issues, system or software failures encountered on the Website.
The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or alter the offer in the event of a technical fault which prevents entry in accordance with these terms and conditions or other exceptional circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
By participating in this offer, claimants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
This offer and these terms and conditions are governed by English Law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with this offer.

You could buy 2 large bags of m&m's in tesco for £1.50 each and get a ticket. May be other large bags on offer too.

Is it two codes per ticket, adult OR child?

Despicable Me 2 calling I think on Sunday

    Tesco have megabags, 2 tokens on each for £1.50 x 2 = £3 cinema ticket, x 4 people = £12 ;-)

Cinema would cost £16 alone lol

M&M peanut only, also have Maltesers, Galaxy and Revels.

Have done this myself (Just got back from Despicable Me 2) and it's 2 tickets per person. Feel free to create multiple accounts (I dont know if this would work, assume so) but you have to sign initials & address at the cinema.

As posted before. If you don't want to eat the sweets straight away, but want to take them to the cinema etc, then you can shine a torch through the base of the packet to read the code on the inside. Doesn't work with Maltesers packs due to colour of packaging.

You don't have to give address etc when you go. You put the codes into the cineworld etc website and it reduces cost to zero. After that point, as far as cinema is concerned, you are a fully paying customer.

    Hope this helps people.

Not sure why you are so confidently stating that you don't have to give your address when I clearly stated that I had just returned from my trip with a SS ticket and was required to provide it. Seems like you are telling me I am wrong?

    This was at a Showcase.

This deal was on last year , I created two account and got 4 tickets. Show case and vue post out tickets too you but cineworld provide a option to have a online code , benefit of the online code is you can preorder your rickets and pickup at the cinema , with posted out tickets you have to up to two weeks for tickets to arrive and then hope when you get to cinema that there are seats available for the movie you want to see, my tip if you have a cineworld go for that option.

I used these a few weeks ago & bought more of the larger packs from Tesco last week so we could go as a whole family on Sunday. I used multiple email addresses & got the codes fine. I used the codes for Cineworld last time. Put the codes in online, booked the tickets & collected them from the automated machine inside the cinema, so no need to give any details of any sort :-)

Created two accounts for 4 tickets (two tickets limitation per account) and bought/booked tickets online (£0 after putting all 4 codes). You still need to provide payment card though and can print out tickets yourself from machine at the cinema itself.
